Those two replacement beams will introduce a 'spring' into the floor at that point. Recommend you replace them both with beams the same size as the others. You're very lucky to have a team of volunteers & tradesmen working for you.

I dont think those beams are strong enough for the span they have to support. It might be wise to change it now.

Thanks ☺️ Actually, having spoken to a few professionals in the trade, while not what we had envisaged they are apparently study enough. It’s the depth which is the most important and these were as deep if not deeper than the original beams.

We did… although the walls at almost a metre thick!
