It comes as at least nine Americans were killed following the Hamas attack on Israel. The escalating conflict hit a nerve on TV news networks. The Iron Dome is a Rocket Interception system. My guess is the Hamas fighters sent in Paratroopers and Ground forces. One would fly over the border, the other brute-forced their way through the defenses. Not only that, Hamas didn't announce the invasion prior to the attack, so they pretty much had the element of surprise at the cost of violating the Geneva convention

My father was born at the beginning of WW1 and my mother was born near the end of WW1. They also lived through the great depression and WW2. I saw my share of bad things too. It's sad but that is what life is about. I was hoping there would be no war before I died. But you can pray all you want for peace but it never comes to a lot of people. War, Famine, Disease murder. I do think there will be another war soon and it makes me so sad. I am a Woman Navy Veteran from 1966-1969. My brothers were in the US Air Force too. We were all in during the Vietnam conflicts but we did not go to Vietnam. I had Uncles in WW2 and they all survived. I even had a great uncle in the Spanish-American War. So I am weary now and tired of hearing all this killing. I live in a neighborhood that is predominately Armenian and Israeli.

Israel stole the land from Palestine. After WW2 western powers just magically decided to give Jews a homeland and that land was already occupied. Over the past 70+ years Israel has been encroaching further and further and declaring more and more land as theirs by right of religious prophecy.
