Literally moments ago I finished your video. I try my best to stay in the now but as a person who values friendships so dearly I do find myself continuously worrying in the back of my mind about drifting apart from the people I feel closest to. Even though the concept hurts I still thank you for creating the video and leaving the ending ambiguous instead of confirming for certain that the friends never saw each other again. I have never had the pleasure to play VR with some people, but love watching your videos. My brother and I were talking about something similar to this. A few of the people we went to school with have passed and one of our car buddies that had a lung condition got covid and died. And we were like man if only we knew. And he was like at least we have the memories and got the opportunity to know them. We had 108 seniors for class of 2011 only 98 of us graduated and in the first 5 years probably 5 of them logged off. Thank you Bardic for putting this out and bringing those people back for a moment.

You never know when it'll be your last time doing something. Often there isn't any hints that things will just stop. There isn't a farewell. I've had a good number of very close friends just drift away over time. I try to keep up with them but each year I hear less and less from them. They're busy, busy with their partners, busy with jobs, kids...life. I didn't know it was going to be our last time hanging out before they moved so far away. I didn't get to say goodbye. they're not gone, but still not here.

Hits me in a spot I hope others can relate with. If you've had good friends on VR where something caused a harsh divide, and you have trouble remembering that person positively, just thinking of the better times you spent with them and how those cannot be taken away. And it does apply to real life as well. Exes being Exes now but of course, not when it was real, or friends who haven't heard from eachother in years, both just sort of watiing for the other one to send a DM that in reality will probably never be sent. The good times that preluded that were still good. It's not up to the current situations to rob the past ones. Time only moves forward.

This actually had me in tears. I've never had too many friends growing up and it's rare I really connect with someone who genuinely cares about me. I've lost so many good friends over the years and this reminded me that all I want is someone, preferably a boyfriend who I have a genuine connection with and is someone who wants to stay with me. I thought I had that with my ex but he clearly didn't know me after two and a half years so I ended it in knowing that even after all that time, we still didn't really know each other at all.

This is wonderful, poigniant and very touching. Caught me right in the feels. This really made me cry. I've been in the fandom since 1995, and I can recall the online friends I had where we drifted away, either life circumstanes or what-not. I feel this way when a furmeet ends, and you have to separate from those you know for a time; when a furry convention ends (either IRL or Furality). I don't like the thought of losing contact with people either, this hit very hard because I've been there, and seen friends I've chatted with just fade away. I'm lucky in that I met my husband in the fandom in 1995, and we've been together since, but it still bothers me when friends fade away. Thank you for creating this short video. Very touching (I know I said that once already.)

Ngl, I thought this was going to take a far more grim turn. I was waiting for the plot twist that their interaction was all just in Bardic’s head. That they were actually talking to no one and was sitting there by themself the whole time. Remembering the last time they spoke to each other before he logged off and never came back. Bardic opens up the friends user profile as it reads “Last online 5 years ago” or something. A chilling and depressing thought. Nice work on this Bardic~👍

Not based off of LUCIDS. But the music is from there. “Somewhere above nothing, but miles below okay.” I loved LUCIDS a lot. This scene was written about a specific group of friends. Ones I actually watched that with. It was a lovely night with them and we all cried at that scene. So I wanted to include the music from it as a nod to them.
