AT NOBO 2024 - Marked tent site (mi. 1265.8) to Stealth tent site (mi. 1283.5)

Marked tent site (mi. 1265.8) to Stealth tent site (mi. 1283.5) It was a straight 16 mile push through the woods this morning, no views, no stops for lunch, I just ate on the run to get to the road, to be able to head into Wind Gap, PA. It reminded me of the 13.1 mile hike Raven and I did in sideways freezing rain up near Clingmans Dome, in the Smoky Mountains. I knew once I got close to Wind Gap, there would be a plethora of food choices to choose from. I ended up going to McDonald’s because I was really hankering a milkshake, and they have good Wi-Fi and I wanted to get the July 3rd & 4th videos uploaded to my channel. I hung out there for a couple hours, eating and charging my power bank, and then caught an Uber back to the trailhead. I thought I would have a decent cell signal up here tonight, but evidently I hiked too far out of town 😂 I don’t have any signal at all, so you probably won’t read this until July 6th. I’m not sure my plan tomorrow, but I will take a look at the map before I turn in for the night and figure out something loosely anyway.
Todays menu: Large Snickers bar, builders protein bar, an apple, medium fry, vanilla milkshake, orange Fanta/Sprite fountain sodas (multiple), crispy chicken sandwich, Cyclist energy bar, hot fudge sundae, Payday candy bar, 20 oz. Gatorade, Klondike bar (didn’t have to do anything for it), and water.

910 miles to home! I know a lot of people watching this are excited about the pictures and the story. I have to tell you, the part I love most (and brings me back to the trail) is the absolute exhaustion on your face as you are lying in your tent. Hike onward my man!
