I bought an 06 STi, 12 STi and currently own a 16 STi. That’s how much I love this car. I was ready for another STi and then Subaru killed it. Subaru give us the STi with the upgraded engine. Not all of us want a frickn electric car. Damn

I seriously doubt it stock. Test driving one 3 days ago it was quite slow and all those skids require alot of power and brakes besides its LSD is not real. Uses the brakes to grab the slipping wheel. It's got 2 open LSDs

Hey Subaru I’m sure this will never get seen or built but It would be perfect to take the new Impreza chassis add 6 pot front 2 pot rear, 2L or 2.4L turbo motor 6 speed manual, manual handbrake with the dccd controller from the sti. This car would be an absolute hit you make it in a basic trim and a fully loaded trim (yes a manual thats fully loaded) and to finish the car off I know you work heavily with toyota and the gr yaris has active cruise functions so stop holding back and just put the feature in your manual already. That would be a killer and a ticket back into being a kick ass performance brand. Long term subaru lover built and owned many different subarus but no one can deny they have gone stale at the moment there is clearly no passion for making fun cars there at the moment. Now that would be worth putting the STI badge on wouldn’t it. Just food for thought.

This new WRX is an all around better car than the previous gen STi. The only thing worse about the new car are the brakes. The new FA24 is light years better than any previous WRX/STi motor, same with the chassis, interior and suspension.
