I remember my first cell phones had activation fees then they got rid of them for a while not they are back . I’ve been with AT&T for like 20 years and they want to charge me an activation fee to upgrade my phone . And all they gotta do is put my SIM card into the new phone. And punch in a couple numbers

It’s like being at the car dealership when the salesman says he keeps going and asking the sales manager lol 😂

Its so prevalent anymore not just at AT&T stores (but def very evident there) that employees dont know the answers to everyday, common questions. I swear everytime i ask a question at an autopart store, grocery store, etc they never know the answer. And ever more frustrating when they just say "oh i dont know" and leave me hanging... as opposed to "im not sure but let me find out for you"

Like I still need to know the answer here...I cant just leave

AT&T website shows 3 tier unlimited postpaid plans of $65, $75, and $85. Those are set prices. So the prices would start right there and end with anything they add on them like activation and/or other fees.

I work at AT&T and I can’t tell you exactly how much your bill is going to be because I don’t have access to that information at all ever but I do have a highly customizable quote tool to give customers a pretty accurate estimate. I never know exact proration amounts but I always warn about them.

She was probably talking to her manager to see if she could get you to do post paid because pre paid sucks metrics wise. I make excuses to talk to my manager to set up an action plan for a sale every interaction. Activation fee is real but I’ve never heard of waiving it for going post paid unlimited lol she must be struggling for a GA

@@babychickenwing4759 I updated my service because I had the $75 plan the lady moved me to the $95 plan because I wasn’t satisfied how the $75 plan internet data was running but the lady put in my records that the activation fee was waived so hearing ppl saying they have a lot of hidden fees makes me wanna switch companies already

@Chris Gray cricket wireless might be a better value, especially the Unlimited Cricket More which has unlimited premium data for 60 a month.

T-Mobile's activation fee is $30, cricket is $25, Verizon is $35. There's going to be activation fees in every store you go to. Could they wave it? Yes, but in most cases you're going to pay.
@whitneyfjohnson2 жыл бұрын
With tmobile themselves they bump it up by $5 from 30 to 35 now
