Atari 7800 Controllers - Review & Overview

Damn that A7800 controller. Since I live in North America, I had to make a pad out of a broken PC one, I've never seen the official pad, you were so lucky in Europe.

I hate the placement of the thumb button on the US controller. I just got one. Luckily a few games dont need both buttons. I'm able to play Tower Toppler well with it just using the trigger finger button on the right. And the joystick is responsive and light to the touch unlike my 2600 joystick. But I agree it's not a good controller, if you need to use both buttons like in Pole Position II it's just terrible..

I bought the seagull78 adapter so I can play 2 button games with Genesis pad.

Those quick shot joysticks are really good, I modded 2 of them.

Never heard of the Quickstot before...and now I _really_ want one! Sadly, it doesn't look like the QS-128F was released in the US and importing one would be bit expensive. Even then, it's tempting...
