@Jimjaycee No, it was not the board. I still have the same problem with the monitor and in the Black Widow but it's not as noticeable when playing the game. The problem is really visible on the high-score screen.

Another great vid. I have Black Widow on my multicade system and it's a fun yet hard game. What other games do you have for the Playchoice 10? I just picked up Baseball Stars and Double Dragon for mine. Keep it up John

I used to play this at a game room here in Houston in the 80s. Quite the fun one. Are you aware of a modern day remake of it? A friend of mine on my vector forums did it. If you do a search for "Tardis remakes" you'll find it. He threw in some additional stuff like a "glow" for the vectors (which I don't like, but you can switch them off).

Looks like the gravitar monitor problem was the pcb. The black widow looks great. Have fun.

BW looks really cool. Chip 'N Dale is a great game - played it lots on the NES 8-bit. Still have it.

Black Widow is a pretty sharp looking game despite it's simplicity. And RC Pro AM and Chip N Dale are 2 of the best NES games.

Why go though all that when you can just emulate everything on your phone and your computer. You can still use an arcade style controller or a Xbox type controller. It's still the same game, just different controller and different screen.

Black Widow is a nice game but converting Gravitar to Black Widow is like converting Audi to a Volkswagen.

Atari sold conversion kits. It's just a PCB and control panel swap. So, no, it's not like converting an Audi to a Volkswagen. It's like converting a Gravitar to a Black Widow. :)

Gravitar is probably one of the best arcade games ever, with incredible depth. The learning curve was too steep for average players so it didn't do that well. Too much strategy and hand-eye cordination was required. Black Widow is very nice game but doesn't hold a candle to Gravitar, which is a real players' game. Cheers mate... love your vids.
