Great video John! These sticks are better for games like Mrs Pacman and Dig Dug compared to playing with the CX78 wireless gamepad. Mrs Pacman and Dig Dug 7800 versions are my favorite video games of all-time! Happy with all the love the 7800 has been getting through the years!

Berzerk is my go to game for testing Atari 2600 controllers.

For joysticks I test on Firefly since you can move anywhere on the screen for Paddles I test on warlords.

I would love is those controllers used switches,.like the neogeo pocket, instead of rubber. That would be more similar to the originals that used metal.plates for contact.

The worst thing about the 2600 was the joystick. I celebrate using more modern joystick types to play these games.

Is there anything identical to an Atari joystick and Atari paddles which are compatible with the Nintendo Switch? Especially paddles...?

I tried both the official Ms.Pac-Man and the Pac-Man Collection version on my OG 7800 and I found that the Atari wireless stick wasn't responding as quickly as needed, especially the vertical. I tried both games again with an OG wired CX40 and the response was much better. Maybe for certain games that don't require frequent split-second directional changes like Pac-Man, etc. the wireless Atari stick would be OK but I noticed a fairly significant difference when comparing their new wireless CX and the old classic wired Atari stick.

Best games to try. It on. Q-BERT OR FROST BITE. Because I have Clocked them both ok.
