There are some groups who seem to go through the motions with fan service and engagement with the fandom because it’s part of the job. I’ve always felt that Ateez really values Atiny, though, and that we’re genuinely important to them. It was fantastic to see it here. There are so many reasons to like, respect, and admire Hongjoong, and this is one of them. I hope this interaction makes that Atiny float through the whole summer. 🤍

I strive not to place anyone on a pedestal, as I find it unfair both to myself and to the person in question. However, Hongjoong is definitely someone I look up to, even beyond the realm of K-pop. I won't go into detail about why I find Hongjoong so admirable, but there's two things about him that really stands out to me and can be applied in many aspects of one's life: he's the kind of person who will always listen and make sure to pay attention to the quietest voice, even in a (chaotic) group setting + He never shies away from genuinely complimenting people even for the most trivial thing ("Wah, you're good at this"). My favorite moment didn't appear on this video, but i'm sure you saw it. It's the gift part and more specifically the letter, cause it's something that was for her eyes and solely hers. and i do love that he was thoughtful to make sure she had something from that experience that was only between him and her 🥺

What an absolute gentleman. He was so kind and respectful. I love seeing interactions like this. I agree I think it was important for him to make a connection with her by trying to relate to her and to show her that everybody has flaws. People do put too much pressure on themselves and I hope it made her realise that you don't have to be perfect all the time

I found it interesting that the subtitles said "talk down on me" (at 1:05). It should have been "talk casually" (since in Korean there´s formal/polite speech and informal/casual speech). And yes, having "a small face" is seen as something positive in Korea. atiny = ayteenee (combo of ateez and destiny)

Yeah, seems to be consistent across east asia at least. Having a small face is more desirable and is seen as having better overall proportions when your head/face is small.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this. This content was a gift for all Atinys. I'm glad that Sol Won had this opportunity for herself and that we Atinys watching feel represented in a way. If I were her, I'd probably not know what to do with myself 😂. In fact, when I was 17 I had a chance to meet with a boyband I loved but I lost my wits as my turn got nearer. Literally ran out of the room in a panic attack 😅. Thankfully still got my album signed though thanks to my friends who went with me (one friend even got to give a peck on a member's cheek 😂). I'm 45 now and to this day, I have no regrets. I mean I tried, queued for many hours for the chance.

That probably doesn’t make it much clearer for someone who doesn’t already know how to pronounce it. It didn’t for me when I was a baby Atiny and kept saying it wrong. Lol! Maybe spell it out like A-teeny. 🤍
