I don't even own a gun that would require a pistol brace, nor a brace, but I did write to the ATF about my displeasure at what they were trying to pull. I also shared it with everyone I know. Being that I live in Texas, an all the BS that the Democrat 'B' in El Paso is trying to pull, I am contacting everyone I know and getting with my Representatives and Governor an telling them to not push that Bloomberg Virginian style Bills through.

You are making my point with that reply. Since you don’t personally want, or see a need for, a slidefire, you are ok with that attack on the 2A. Now that it affects you, it’s personal. Trump attacked the 2A by making a firearms accessory that was bought legally illegal, and ordered those with them to cut them up or face consequences. All that without reimbursement or grandfathering. Would you be upset if Biden orders you to cut up your brace(s), with no compensation, or become a criminal if you don’t ? Trump showed the libs that you can chip away at the 2A through executive order, and as long as it doesn’t affect too many in the community, they won’t rise up. What do you think Biden will do with that info? If Trump could ban one type of stock, can he ban others? Adjustable stocks? Braces? What about binary triggers? Foregrips? @@billcolbert1213 well the idea is that, in theory ,SBRs, suppressors and full auto are more coveted by criminals, SBRs are more easily conceilable than a full length rifle, suppressors make your gun silent, and full auto is just more dangerous because it goes BRRRR. in reality of course, none of these things are true. SBRs are still too large and cumbersome for carrying concealed, suppressors barely have an impact on sound most of the time. and full auto is impractical for anything other than mass suppression of enemies in cover (or fun range days). but when these laws were made in the 20th century, politicians of the time had seen too many gangster movies and believed intellectually questionable things like: "silencers make gun go pew instead of BANG". or: "gangsters LOVE tommy guns". and here we sit with our rights being shit on
