I'd love to see a video about how to use the BitPixel as a stand alone display, one that you can just mount on the wall and have automatically rotate through a bunch of stored artwork. I upgraded to the BitLCD and my BitPixel's just sitting around

Just connect it to a Legends puck. Have one on my wall plus it can work while playing games.

This works on the BitpixelLED for the Legends Ultimate 1.0, 1.1 Arcades as well as the BitPixelHV on the HD Pinball and the custom Pixelcade Marquees you can put on the Legends Ultimate Mini Arcades

I it is not working with my ALU mini. It is not recognizing the flash drive after it successfully installs the pixelcade.

Just ordered a BitLCD. Hope it works out of the box for HDMI input since I'm going mini PC build.

No issues with the BitLCD, this is just the LED Marquee that has some issues happening right now.

@@jimharper5710 I wasn’t happy to see AL from Pixelcade responded to their post and they promptly deleted his response. Says all I need to know about that in my opinion. Also, odd they say they removed the app in April 2023 yet the app is now just disappearing for folks, etc. it’s a weird one for sure luckily I keep moving on to the next topic at hand

My Bitpixel works but I had the little Arrows on the BitLCD app telling me to upgrade it and now it can't see it and it just shows Atgames Marque Screen. Firmware is 5.68.0 but it says there is a 51.70.0 Upgrade. Can't find anything about that.

Thank you for this fix, as I have this exact problem. I just bought the custom pixelcade for the ALU mini only to learn the software to run it was no longer available and I couldn’t find anything about it online until now. However. When I tried your fix, everything went smoothly until I try to launch bitpixel, and it says it cannot locate the flash drive, despite it clearly being mounted. I’ve tried using separate USB keys for the flash drive with the same result. Now when I start it up, even if I remove the USB drives, it takes 2 minutes longer to boot up and says “loading” in blue for a few minutes after the usual legends logos. My marquee is working and just showing random games, as it always has since I installed it. Please help

thanks for this idk why but my ctr board went out and just got the new one in today and sadly had to go through all kinds of hoops to get my alu reupdated to proper firmware but now the pixelcade app is removed from my alu quick question do you need to keep the flash drive you use to reenable it plugged in all the time or is it just to reenable and install the enabler onto the appstorex menu?

I followed everything exactly and when I go to hit launch it says pixelcadex failed to start or device not found please restart your arcade and the connected device and try again which I've done like 5 times now and it says the same thing I've tried everything to correct it and it won't work any ideas?

Wow, you came thru once again. Now my Core Max is working with the BitPixel. 😊. Took several tries but finally loaded on internal memory. What do you think the next thing AtrGames will do to legacy customers?

I don't even worry about it cause my ALU is set to boot straight to coin ops and it's still working just fine BTW i think its highly unlikely at this point that we will see a ALU 4k as the ALP 4K isnt exactly selling well for atgames

Do I have to have this second USB drive forever connected to this device, or is there a way to add this UCE to the same drive that runs CoinOpsX?

I solved my own problem, so here is the solution if you don't want to use a second drive forever. Simply use your existing CoinOpsX drive in one USB slot, (this will need to be mounted, but should already have the FlashDriveX partition when you made it), and a secondary drive that is doesn't have anything special besides the install. Once you mount from your CoinOpsX drive, you should be able to install from the other drive and if you are on Legends Ultimate 1.0, it needs to be on the left usb port. Once done, it's now installed on the same drive as CoinOpsX, so the rest of the guide is the same, and you can remove this additional drive, and avoid needing a USB Hub.
