12:20 Inductive arguments, as Russel demonstrated, are always formally fallacious. These arguments are great vs. random unsuspecting Muslims, I guess.
@realBreakfasttacos25 күн бұрын
It's always funny to me when religious people come to my channel and don't know what they are talking about. Inductive arguments are not about certainty, they are about probability. They are also evaluated on strength/cogency. They are not evaluated in the same way deductive arguments are. The argument works against you too.
@InformedTheology25 күн бұрын
@@realBreakfasttacos Probability within naturalistic epistemology is ultimately useless, of course. With any observation that could be repeated indefinitely, the probability of it's truth is mathmatically 0%. Karl Popper who was no theist taught me this. Every empircal claim has a 0% probability of being true. What a marvelously useless worldview.

@@rootsheepnot So they lived and gained information and some of that "scientific information" is in the Quran. Many old texts have knowledge from the time. I think the Quran has really close to the amount of bones in the human body if I remember correctly. But it is like a compilation of the knowledge available so a lot of it was false back then and doesn't actually cohere with the way the world works. It also mentions humans came from prior types of humans if I remember correctly.
@rootsheepnot27 күн бұрын
@ If it’s the word of God shouldn’t the amount of bones be correct and not close to? I’ve read a few passages where it gets things completely wrong,….

Quantum fields are not natural processes. A process isn't natural, otherwise its not a process. A process is a natural part of this universe but processing is not an inanimate process. Emergence requires something to emerge out of and into. For example the world wide web or internet, emerged out of an architecture into a dynamically active network that can now enable long distance communication on a global scale. That didn't emerge out of nothing it emerged out of sophisticated processes which are guided by consciousness. Take away the architecture and the consciousness involved in the construction of it and the digital space that emerged, would cease to exist. It would collapse back into itself as it has no foundation supporting it. Energy can't structure itself without physical guidance. A quantum field with no quantum computer represents nothing but decoherence and you my friend are decoherent, many people are but not everyone is decoupled from reality friend.
@realBreakfasttacos3 күн бұрын
Quantum fields are natural and physical dingleberry. They are just fundamental fields of energy. The necessary being foundation is the universal quantum field. You are just confused.
