I have been waiting for this. Off to make a cuppa and then settle down to watch...😊

Athens is supposed to be the best city in Europe. Looks really cool to me!

I cannot believe your trip is soon nearly over. It feels like youhave been made for travels and reporting and documenting. I hope you will continue after your return back home. You would be much much missed.

Starting to get sad that your videos will soon end - I’ve been there from the start and it’s been a great journey even as a viewer. Hopefully you’ll be able to do some more in the future - there’s plenty of Europe still to see! 😊 If you wish to see some great travel videos of Western Europe - and the U.K. in particular - including lots of fascinating off the beaten track places - I can recommend the brilliant Steve Marsh YT channel.

Oh wow, since the start?! Thank you so much for coming along on the journey! 😃 We have plans to keep making videos after this trip's vlogs are finished, and there should even be a few new trips coming in the near future (though not nearly as extensive as this one was). Also, thanks for the recommendation!

I have enjoyed sightseeing along with you. I’m in Kearney NE & you are showing me many places I will never travel to. 💜

Thank you, this is the video I've been waiting on the most. It's over 20 years since I visited Athens and this has made me want to go back yet again. I first visited on a school trip back in 1983 and instantly fell in love with the city and country. If you want to try and get your head round Athens history I recommend you read 2 books by John M Camp, a professor from the American School of Classical Studies in Athens - The Athenian Agora, and Archaeology of Athens. I'm now looking forward to your next video from my home city.

Doing the Lauryn photo counter and then saying "let's get back to the beauty" and looking at the local scenery looked like it might be a slappable offence until you added-in a camera shot of you both. Nice save ;) Athens looks much better than I expected. Thanks again for the reveal. Looking forward to seeing what you do back in Edinburgh.

As a reasonably well-travelled Scot, I've been to most of the places you've been to, but I must admit I had never considered Athens, probably because of the heat and crowds. But January - there's a thought! I will be so sad when your trip is over, I do hope you end with a video talking about future travel plans.

Your enthusiasm for Athens shone through. I feel exactly the same, I love Athens, a beautiful city. You picked a perfect time to visit. I also visited in the winter (Dec) had perfect weather & avoided crowds. Can’t believe your trip is nearly over, love watching your videos.

I’ve never been, mainly because of the heat. But watching you both, I now want to go there for myself 😊

It's definitely worth it! The winter months might just be the sweet spot temperature wise.

I can't believe you went to all these places in Europe famous for their incredible cuisines and instead of trying the local food you just kept eating pasta.

Neither of us are foodies at all, and on a long trip like this with limited funds, we decided we'd rather eat what we know we'll enjoy 90% of the time instead of spending money on meals we may potentially not like. But that said, we actually DID try local food in several places (Liverpool, Edinburgh, Lisbon, Bordeaux, Paris, Bruges, Prague, and Munich to name a few). Food just isn't our thing, though; we found plenty of value in the sights and experiences along the way.

Not sure why your views are lower for Greece, it's a beautiful place, each Island completely different with its own story.
