Excellent show as usual, thanks to your suggestions I'm now getting a solid 60 fps. flight sim will not stay at full screen keeps changing back to window in spite of ALT + ENT or saving it in the graphic setting any way to keep it in the full screen . thanks for all the great help you have given us.

Absolutely agree. I simply do not fly if I’m not on VATSIM. it’s the ultimate in realism and fun. Go for it. Just fly an aircraft you are familiar with so that you can confidently execute the instructions. When flying IFR you just need to learn how to get clearance and the rest is mainly about following instructions given by ATC. When contacting a new ATC controller, in 99% of the cases, you simply say hello with your callsign, flight level / altitude and inbound waypoint. The other thing to do is always listen out for your callsign. Enjoy.

I'm terrified about getting into Vatsim but I really would like to any tips for maybe an airport I can stay at to get used to what they say by listening in on the atc? Not sure what to do

The vPilot client allows you to connect in observer mode (check box at connect screen), then you can spawn somewhere at the airport and listen in on the different frequencies. When you're ready to fly on VATSIM, choose an airport with little traffic and write something like "New pilot" in the client when connecting and the ATC will hopefully have time to give you some more help.
