Out of the hundreds of videos I've watching Jeff has helped me absolutely zero times. Whenever I needed to fix issues. Knees over toes guy. Even Hybrid Calesthetics actually helped. 80%-90% of the pain is gone. With Jeff the pain will still remain. Jeff does not know how to fix pain.

There are many good channels for weight lifting. I think for information he is one of the best on the internet. He doesnt use young sexy women in skimpy shorts as click bait. When I see this it makes the presenter look like a sleaze. BUT he makes money selling supplements (protein shakes) - the biggest gimmick in sport.
@raymondmenz5225 жыл бұрын
@mcweb A protein shake is equivalent to a 100g steak and 1 & 1/2 cups of coffee. Manufacturers discovered that if they put magnesium in with the mixture they can slash their cleaning costs. Magnesium stops the mixture sticking. We can now buy special protein shakes flavoured with magnesium. There are now special vitamin pills with added magnesium because we all need magnesium. The supplement industry is world wide a US 60 billion dollar a year industry. The word hypocrisy springs to mind.

THANK YOU‼️😍 I don’t have money for PT and this is just what I needed. I haven’t had mobility in my hips in 7 years but now I do in minutes! ❤🎉

I watched this today as I am a 47yr old female that has found out after a year of tests that i have arthritis in my lower back and left hip. Ive always done alot of weight lifting and running hard down hill and not looked after my body in pro-active ways (stretching, hydration, nutrition). Lately ive had more and more impingement and pain from possible inflammation. Your hip tests have been very helpful and using the skeleton has been the one thing that has helped me understand what is going on. Im really grateful to have found this. I wish you could be my PT or help me with an exercise regime to activate the supporting muscles so i can lessen the everyday pain. The less i do, the more pain and knots and restriction in mobility I suffer. I suffer with anxiety and its crucial I exercise. Thanks once again for this brilliant clip

Hi Rambo. Can you please tell us details? It sounds like you have a success story. And what you are describing is a miracle. Since watching this man's videos for the first time, I feel like his knowledge about stretching is nothing less than a miracle. I have been wanting a miracle to help my hip pain caused by riding bicycles for years, without doing any stretching. I was honestly feeling morbidly depressed from this nagging chronic mild pain in my hip. But after seeing his information on hip flexors, and stretches, I literally feel 100% confident that I can just "stretch" myself back to full health. My hip flexors feel like massive steel cables when I am simply kneeling with my feet behind me. I didn't even know what the flexors were until his videos!

You have just saved my life! After doing yoga and strength for 4 years, being super fit, I have bought new high sole trail sneakers and managed to lock my whole pelvis in an anterior pelvic tilt, sent all muscles in an overdrive, psoas, hip flexors, tfl, it band, lower back, with leg pain, shoulder pain, neck pain, you name it. My whole body changed its alignment in 2 weeks, I couldn't move, sit on the floor, for weeks! Your videos taught me more than any book I have ordered (trying to learn about anatomy and solve the pain.) Yes, the glutes and abs are not working, and I knew the issue that has to be solved must be somewhere else. To relax TFL and hip flexors to unlock that tilt! Oh man, I cannot thank you enough! May the God repay you in His blessings! 🙏🙏🙏🙏

This is legit. I have been having annoying hip pain (front of hip, hip flexors) in my left leg for 3-4 months now. Did all the different stretches that various youtube channels recommended... it always helped for a few minutes but the pain came right back. Every morning when getting up from bed I could tell that nothing really changed, the pain was there again. Two days ago I did the side-plank from this video (11:18). I did it five or six times over the course of a day - always about 30 seconds. I used the "full" variation, not the easier one. It felt strenuous (in a good way) so I knew that I might be weak in that area. What can I say? No more pain when lifting my leg up, no more pain when getting out of be and putting on my socks. I am sooo happy! Thank you so much Jeff. It is not the first time that your specific video was the ONLY one that actually brought relief and fixed something!

Please don't make my mistake! Thank you for bringing up the potential for structural bone issues / impingement / labral tears in the beginning of the video (2:38). I'm 30 and very active, and after years of having various issues with my hips, which are now causing quite a lot of pain, I've been diagnosed with femoral neck impingement and labral tears. I tried PT for 2 months at first, and when it wasn't helping they referred me to a hip specialist. Hip specialist looked at X-Rays, revealing my femoral neck deformities (sort of an excess of bumpy bone on the surface which can lead to contact with the acetabular rim during certain ranges of motion), and then MRIs which show the tears in both my acetabular labrums, worse on the left which is the more symptomatic. I would urge anyone feeling sharp pain deep in their hips to see a PT, and in the meantime don't push it with extreme range of motion stretching, as you might be causing further damage to a pre-existing tear; I think this is how mine got so bad, to the point where I've now been recommended for hip arthroscopy surgery to remedy my issues. Best of luck to all, may you be the spitting image of health and fitness!

Stiffness in the hip joint can affect the alignment of the spine for several reasons:Compensatory Mechanisms: When the hip joint becomes stiff, the body naturally tries to compensate for the restricted movement. For example, if hip movement is limited, excessive movement may occur in the lower back or other joints. These compensatory mechanisms can lead to abnormal spinal alignment.Pelvic Tilt: Tension in the hip joint can cause the pelvis to tilt. When the pelvis tilts, the spine can twist or lean to one side, leading to structural imbalances in the spine and potentially causing long-term pain and injury.Muscle Imbalance: Stiffness in the muscles around the hip joint can create imbalances in the muscles that stabilize the spine. Weak or stiff hip muscles can place excessive stress on the spine, affecting its alignment.Limited Range of Motion: Restricted hip movement can influence overall movement patterns, impacting spinal alignment. Abnormal patterns can form in daily activities like walking, running, and sitting.Therefore, stiffness in the hip joint can directly or indirectly influence spinal alignment. Addressing this issue involves improving the flexibility and strength of the hip joint and maintaining proper movement patterns throughout the body.

I am a Vietnam Era Veteran, 5 time Softball slow-pitch Batting champion, playing 3B in a Men's 20-40 Fall 2021-softball league. This year I developed hip issues. After watching this video, I am going to improve my play without pain hopefully. I will post my results after a few games. Thanks for the tips. I think you hit a homerun :)

Thank you so much Jeff! I have been having this problem for a couple of weeks now, and so much of what you went through in the video applied to me. I think that, for me, weakness in the lower back is probably the biggest concern because I have been having lower back pain for almost 7 months. I will definitely take your advice!!!

This exercise is a game changer for me. I have been living with a tight and painful sciatic nerve for two years. Physical therapy and cortisone shots didn't work. I was able to open my SI joint and get that nerve unstuck. All the hip and back stretching and i finally found the one stretch that I needed. Thanks!

Christ on a bike, you wouldn’t believe how many squatting videos I’ve watched to try to free my hips. 5 minutes into this one, I test a squat with rotated legs and I’m down near the floor. Awesome video!

Thank you for this video. I used to be a marathon runner but a few ankle injuries from forced boots and UTs runs put me out and I packed on the pounds. This year, I've decided to focus much more on regaining my fitness level to my Marine Corps days but my hip has been troubling me and making running, biking or even the elliptical painful. After trying the band for just a minute it released a bit, and the side bridge melted almost all the tension away. I'll be doing these as part of my regular daily regime. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Best hip video I've seen. I tried a few of the movements that you demonstrated on Jesse and was excited to see progress on my right hip. I've been experiencing acute pain deep in the hip joint on my right side and have been dedicated to a hip stretching and foam rolling routine for months with little relief (although lots of additional benefits). Tonight trying the single leg plank to isolate the inner muscles showed me a significant difference in muscle condition. I will be adding these movements to my current plan and look forward to less pain and more function from my hips! Thank you for putting out quality videos that have great explanations and great perspective on fitness. Follower for life.

First of all, disclaimer I am not an athlete lol. But I have been having physio since Oct 19 following disc prolapse & lumbar steroid & only after trying to strengthen my external hip rotators am I this morning feeling any solid relief. My hip/back has been so incredibly tight haven’t been able to stand straight or walk consistently- Thanks to your video that seems to be relieved. Just wanted to say thank you so much I can’t express how much this has helped me and I’m only a few reps in. I’m going to try find more of your vids to see if there’s similar 🤞🏼Emma.

I've started doing Judo again after a long time inactivity and immediatly after my first training i barely couldnt walk 1 hour later because of the hips being sore and tight. Now even 1 year later, every time i train hard, my hip hurts afterwards, went to the hospital for echo and photo's and they couldnt find a thing, everything looked perfectly normal, not even an inflamation i couldn't believe it. Now your video made it clear, i need to free the joint and strenghten the muscles around the hip more. Thanks for the video that gave me more info then 2 doctors and a hospital visit.
