4:04 prop yourself up with center of thoracic spine directly against edge of bench.(most form of contact being center of thoracic spine to bench, subsequently triceps to bench and feet to ground.) Now get into pelvic anterior tilt. Then keep head parallel to the floor. Hold for 1minute. Repeat 3 times per day. 5:03 once got that nailed, increase difficulty, extend arms side by side to your head. 5:36 increase difficulty again, wrap cloth around a weight plate, hold to fore head and slowly do simple "yes" head movents. 6:30 Do face pulls but when you reach your face, extend arms straight up and then back straight down. just a couple sets once a day.

Hello, Glad to read in your comment that you are feeling better after reducing meds and/or altering your diet. I haven’t had near the number of concusses, instead have been hit by a car while on my bicycle, then bucked off a spooked horse while he was running up steep trail path and rolled quite a ways down, and then rear ended by a 41’ Motorhome while I was stopped at a red light (jaws of life, temp paralysis). I’ve been off/on way too many meds over time, dealt w/chronic pain & headaches, dealt with Trigeminal Neuralgia (aka the suicide disease), and walked with a cane for years. I also said NO to brain surgery, and then found a new Primary Care Physician - Best decision ever!!! Like you, I started changing my foods then incorporating natural herbs, supplements to my diet which helped me feel physically better than almost any of the meds I was taking!!! I don’t use a cane anymore either. People are skeptical when I tell them how I recovered from most of the chronic pain I’d dealt with for about 20 years just by changing foods and diet. It’s amazing. That said, I’m still working on short term memory issues and occasional depression (2020 issues didn’t help with that). Any suggestions for improving short term memory issues? Thank YOU for serving in the Military!

Movere Ergo Sum and bad posture fappers . Ya youve seen em hanging around fapping over bent guys
@aquacandela37055 жыл бұрын
Movere Ergo Sum Well no as a chiropractor the most effective treatment of not just forward head carriage but most ailments are correction and educating your clients to sustain that adjustment on there own. Especially when you consider such posture leads to a host of issues like diabetes as the pull on the brain stem reduces nerve supply to every organ in the body so the importance cannot be overstated. I guess it comes down to the individuals morals and ethics I for one cannot justify fixing apart of a problem and remaining silent on the others, the Irony in my experience is when you're honest and legitimately care for each person who walks through the door as if it were yourself (that is when we see breakthrough in both health and relationship) people keep coming back on their own.

I’m going to try these exercises! I work out regularly, but I sing more than anything. My daily singing exercises started to put strain on my neck, which helped me realize my natural posture was unhealthy. Singing absolutely requires strength in so many parts of the body, not just the throat. Thank you for your help!!

Same here. I've had it all my life. The first time I became aware was in 1999 when I saw a video of us in ROTC marching. Just the other day I was filming a video for a how-to on something and was reminded I still have it. Jeff definitely has some telepathic magic, or he sees it enough regularly. When I use perfect form and correct posture in the mirror at the gym it makes a night and day difference in my workout and the way I appear, but I am aware as soon as I step away it will kick back in subconsciously. I do a modified version of the face pulls since the cable machines tend to be always busy. I get on one of those stationary back-extension stations and just pull a 45lb plate to my face, but I'm obviously not going back far enough. I haven't been doing those rubber band abduction pulls since the first time I saw that video. Maybe I'll start doing that and the bench thing as well, although I might be a bit too self conscious about using a bench just for that.

Do you lean back when doing face pulls? Jeff has never talked about the lower body during face pulls.
@peretternavn82875 жыл бұрын
@@ramirezt.649 It`s corrective, so it`s not supposed to be heavy weight (if that`s why you`re leaning back.) Otherwise a change in angle will just hit the muscles in a different way. If you do them sitting from where you do the lat pulldowns, you could involve the upper traps to a higher degree (if you wanted to do more weight). Note that he also has another version on Instagram where he`s lying on the floor. If you`re curious: instagram.com/p/BuAmgDmnjnM/

I was once told I walk leaning forward a little, so I think I'm realizing I have a lot of these issues. 3x a day would be tough, but I'll at least try to incorporate them more regularly.
