Nice one dude 💯. An in depth video on general prep would be dope if you’d be able to.

can you please make a video on what split a track runner should follow. when to do lower body strength one day and then when to do upper(push/pull), and when to incorporate sprinting and plyos please? sorry if you already made a video on this before

Yeah I used those in the off season as a way to target a bit of strength mixed with high load power with a slight stretch shortening cycle effect. I don’t use them much these days but it’s a good spe exercise especially if you plan to progress toward other Olympic lifts.

What do you think about using overspeed training? Acually it contains overloading because Impulse is Force X Time,if we decrease time (that's what overspeed training does),it takes more force to get the same vertical impulse (to get to the same height in the air as we used to have)

Nice video man! I was just wondering, you said that it might not be to wise to go back to general preparation when you already started specifying you're training. What should you for example do after preparing for indoors, should start over with general prep or should you take a slight step back in intensity and keep training if you're goal is to be in top shape by outdoors?

I think a short active (or even passive) rest cycle could be used, such as for 7-10 days, followed by a cycle where the exercises are different but overall goals and intensities are the same. So say you were doing 30s/70s/sleds/power cleans, maybe you shift to 30m flys/120s/weight vests/jump squats or something like that.

Hey Cody, is high school to early to do 5x 5 rm program? How do you know when you're ready to do low rep strength training like 5 reps or lower, because as you said you don't want to progress to early? Thanks!
