Im moving to a dorm with a Paris theme. I just wanted a calm and cool toned space to unwind in. I am going with grey, white, black and red accent colors. I wanted to stand out but also feel refined. I love the accent wall paper. I bought gold paper fan decals to cover one wall in. Hoping it all come together nicely.

Wow. you make magic. I love, love, love this. It doesn't even look like a dorm room. I am sure she will win the best dorm room challenge if they have one there. I have visited that college before but, it was a very long time ago. The one thing I can say is that in Georgia the college dorms are pretty nice, Not too many old school ones left. You can really work with them a lot but, what you do is beyond my imagination. Great job!!!!!

I'm in college. I'm not in a dorm. I'm lucky enough that I can drive back and forth between home and school. I decided to make over my room this year by painting and moving everything around (I think it's an inexpensive way of making the room feel fresh and new). I moved away from the gray tones (which I still love) and wanted to use whites, ivory, and gold shades to refresh my space. Now I am currently trying to find bedding to match and can withstand my chihuahua who spends all day asleep in the bed. :) I just want to say Nikki, thank you for your videos. They will come in even more handy when I begin my teaching career after university. If you ever have an opportunity to help a teacher organize his/her classroom, can you please do a video. I would love to incorporate those tips you share in my own classroom. Thanks! ❤️

I haven't moved in yet, but I'm using a deep purple and real blue theme, and my sister is doing various blues with white and gold, trying to go for a water theme (she even got a little alligator plushie for her bed). A lot of your tips from your last dorm series were really helpful to me, and also helpful in refreshing the room I share with my sister at home!

Very nice! This makeover is very inspirational. My 16yr old want to makeover her bedroom and it has been a bit if a challenge. She doesn't like a traditional bed with a head/footboard. She also doesn't like a big dresser. I think I'm going to purchase her a platform bed with underneath storage. She also wants to change the color from teal and white to something with rose gold. I recently downsized my home and I'm currently renting a home. She hates the wall color, so we'll paper would be awesome! Again, Challenging! Lol!! I'm going to check out the OCM site for ideas.
