It's a cultural thing, really. Koreans used to be the only region that took Tekken seriously. Like, really seriously. Now there are two regions. Korea still corners the Starcraft 2 market though, also because they're the only ones who take it seriously. I'm hoping SF6's $2mil pool will attract more Korean players and bring e.g. Poongko back into the scene.
