I always loved how in Ghibli films there was never a villain or bad person, even those you would assume where evil ended up simply being misunderstood. That’s what makes Ghibli beautiful to me.
@SamuelPulkkinen-jp8ev4 ай бұрын
Straight up villains are rarer, but there are multiple bad people. Some of them, like the pirates in Laputa, simply became allies for the convenience of the situation. They were bad, they were greedy, but it's not like that's all there was to them. Yubaba was a hag that tried to trick Chihiro even at the end, which seemed to be out of mere spite.

What about the queen in howls? The only movies I’ve seen are this one and howls so I’m not sure of other “villains”, but the queen actually seemed kind of evil.

This is a true story that happened to me: So one time I was at the hospital because my grandpa was close to death after a hart attack he recently had, I was young at the time so I didn’t know what to do. But suddenly the moment came to where doctors had to rush in to save him... I was confused and scared and the doctors told me and my family to wait out on the lobby. The lobby had a piano and someone was playing the song that they were playing last ended and then they announced that they were going to play this song but I didn’t really hear them cause it was a bit loud and their voice was soft but the piano was loud, then they started playing the more notes that they hit the more sadness of their and my emotion started flowing in, it was so beautiful but I didn’t know the name though... my grandpa luckily survived but now is suffering from lack of eye sight. A few years later I started to watch studio Gihbli then I came across Spirited Away I ended up watching it and then I started listening closer to the background music then my memories started coming back to me and when Haku said “Now go, and don’t look back” made me cry....

Bro... Studio Ghibli gives us the most nostalgia... It’s like... how do I say this... *You don’t remember but you feel it their, in your heart, somehow you FEEL your past and that’s nostalgia, remembering through FEELING IT* I don’t know, I’m not that smart but... *Not everything can be described. Listening to this gives me goosebumps. Its somehow so sad that kids these days can acces to online content so easily they are wathing one show after another. Or really poor created content by youtubers and streamers. Poor generation.....
