from watching this event; stage position is very important. stepping and walking are necessary for avoiding chip, pushback, and switching position. the player with better Z movement seems to have a big advantage.

Mishima just not used often in tourneys due to high risk of crucial missinput but that doesnt matter in ranked match where you have a lot less pressure and can just give a round and win the next 5

@@dbueilrb Akuma was even harder than Mishimas, same with Geese, and we used to see them all the time in Tekken 7 tournaments, you know why? Because unlike Mishimas, he was actually OP. The reason everybody always cries about Mishimas being OP is because they’re lead characters and always under a magnifying glass, a lot of other characters get away with a lot more BS than DVJ does
