Rally's/Checkers is like a Hardee's/Carl's Jr situation, where both restaurants are owned by the same corporation due to a buyout at some point and now serve the same menu, but the name of the restaurant building basically depends on what region of the country you're at. There's 10 Checkers in Atlanta but the nearest Rally's is in Alabama 😆

The ring camera skit in the show was about a real story in August 2019 when some black boys were fundraising door to door in their Arkansas town. They got to a white woman's house, rung the doorbell, and she pulled out a gun on them and had them lie on the ground. She claimed they were trying to rob them when they were fundraising, as stated by the superintendent. As far as I recall, there wasn't actual video footage, but I like how they did that in the episode.

There was so much to unpack between the "D'Angelo experience" and our inside look into how new hip-hop artists get procured lol. Each of them couldve been a whole episode separately. I appreciated the insight for the show's nods to Get him to the Greek, love that movie. I'll be looking for a Jeffrey next! 😆

I know that I’m late to this video but you guys mentioned Rally’s in this episode. Rally’s is the souther version of Checkers. It’s the same company and I’m not sure why they needed to have 2 different names but long story short, it’s the same thing
