Dope interpretation bro. I’ve been racking my brain especially on this episode of the series. I’m glad they chose to end it that way because look at the amount of ppl debating on that final moment. If you listen closely to the end of the shot, you can hear a hint of police sirens. I think that’s what made me also think that he was in reality.

The lighting, muted colors and depth of field in the final shots of the scene with Darius and his brother mirror the choices made for how the scene between Al and his mom in Woods was shot. Didn’t notice this until a recent rewatch, but there’s no way it wasn’t intentional. Also, Nine!! I’d love to interview you on my pod and talk Atlanta with you if you’d be open to it.
