🟡 Atlantic City | Borgata Hotel & Casino All You Can Eat Buffet. Seafood, Asian, Sirloin & Desserts!

Hello Nu Yawkers! Today I am in Atlantic City at The Borgata Hotel & Casino to check out their all you can eat dinner buffet! I did a video a while back ago on the lunch buffet they have here at the Borgata and I wanted to try the dinner to check out the differences. Turns out there is not much difference between the two (except for price and time of day). There was a good choice of options and the food was pretty good. I started with a seafood plate then moved on to fried food, Asian, Italian, meat & potatoes and finally dessert and coffee. What did I think of the food, atmosphere and price? I went about 6yrs ago, and I believe they had a blackjack table near the buffet. I put $100 down to play one hand and won. That paid for me and my two friends dinner. Only went for buffet, thats the only hand I played. Left AC full and happy. Good day!

Hands down my favorite buffet in AC (even when the others existed). Fresh Harvest has definitely stepped it up though so it’s nice to have both options. I miss the one at Harrah’s and Caesar’s, and going back even further the Virginia City at WWW. Thanks for making my mouth water! I’ll be down for Borgata’s big birthday in a couple of weeks! 🎉

it's a good buffet i found. given COVID has put proverbial nail in most of them (Vegas, et al) and with some coupons/comps it's a great deal. thanks for the video, we found you channel while looking up Atlantic City as a vacation and your content is top notch.

Enjoyed the video. Haven't been to the Borgata buffet in years and used to love it. I also enjoy Hard Rock buffet also. What you said about the Chinese food is true. I've never been to China but my sister's coworker is Chinese and she said what we know as Chinese food is American Chinese food. What they think we want. She said to my sister let me take you to Chinatown in NY to a real Chinese restaurant for authentic Chinese food 😅

Some of the ingredients that you find in many American 'Chinese' foods aren't even available in China like broccoli. I've done a video of Chinatown in Manhattan. Hi Jeff! Thanks for the video! Usually when we eat at a buffet I usually get a small salad. Then I hop around to different stations to pick out what I like. My kids would tell you that I’m strange because I have to eat all of my food separately. Like if I have mac&cheese, mashed potatoes, and steak. I would pick one and not eat anything else until that item is finished (or I’m just finished with it.) 😂 No idea why I’m that way though. I’ll add I prefer for the food to not touch (some people say it all gets mixed together in your stomach but what do they know!) lol

Every time I go to AC I have to hit up the Borgata Buffet at least once during my trips. I especially like the breakfast, may not be the best choice for you, Jeff lol I know of your dislike for eggs! I find it a very good deal considering wherever else you go whether inside a casino or not everything is ala carte making for an example a simple bacon egg and cheese and a bagel with a small coffee the same price as the buffet. Buffets for me are enjoyable because I like variety and not really about quantity (except of course for the continuous coffee!) I enjoy some bacon and eggs yet if I want a pancake or waffle I can do that too. There is also a lot of things to enjoy for everyone. For the health conscious there is lots of fruit, oatmeal, farina and cereal etc and yet if it's one of those days when you really want to put your snout on lol there is even "breakfast dessert" like muffins, pastries, etc. I guess it's all about your vibe.

Your friend's opinion about Chinese food here in US is totally true. You have to travel to China to experience the real Chinese food. Much, much better than American version of Chinese food.

Thanks for the feedback donga2000! Finding authentic ethnic food in the U.S. can be challenging (but not impossible!) But don't get me wrong ... I don't claim to be an expert on Asian food. disclosure: I'm ethnically Asian, but culturally, I'm an American; born and raised in the Bronx. From what I gather, some of the international foods that are made in the US is very "american-ized"; meaning, we toss in a lot of seasonings. Why? I have not clue. Knowing this, I've been told, if you show a plate of American Chinese-takeout to a person that has lived their entire life eating regionally made Chinese food, they will be very repulsed by it. I'm sure a burrito from Taco Bell would turn-off a person that has had authentic burritos from the Southwest. Side note: I actually like Chinese-takeout, it's probably b/c i'm an American. re: Buffet plate rotation 1st plate, salad. 2nd plate, entree 3rd plate, dessert which is usually Bread pudding with huge dollop of whipped cream and drizzled with a berry compote.

Funny you should bring up Mexican food because that was also part of the conversation I had with my friend. Authentic Mexican as well as authentic Asian food might turn Americans off while the same could be said for visitors from those areas coming here. I've been to Mexico many times and the food is nothing like the 'Mexican' (or Tex-Mex) we serve here. I find real Mexican food simple and fresh whereas here everything seems to be over the top.
