I really appreciated your review. Several down and in still left wondering about the different modes, specifically sunset/ sunrise... landscape/cloudscape. But that being said you certainly honed in on aspects of this camera no one else has. So thank you. I agree with the app based danger of devices like this being a thing. But I still own a 4G phone and won't change it till they decide to stop updating it. I wonder, does anyone else remember when we were excited to upgrade our phones?? I don't know anyone who wants to now. Technology is an oxymoron sometimes. Anyhow, thanks again! Great footage of the growth on those plants! Smiles and blessings...

Yeah I mean for the price it's a pretty handy tool. I installed one recently in my new iFast 3d printer. I always find fun things to do with them

Wow, 4K and this would be a huge no brainer. I hope they are working on that.

Thanks for all that info, my concerns were about the possibility of charging while using and the weather resistance. You answered both perfectly and i really like the solar panel ideas. I would like to use it for long term shooting, like season changing, leaf changing colors, snow accumulating and melting ect.

Great review. Have you had long term success with your solar panel usb / weather shield arrangement? Seems to be a very clever solution.

cool video, well done m8 and the camera has caught mi attention. I am sure you can get more views on this if you have a more detailed title (include "Timelapse camera") to your video...keep it up!

Now this is awesome... can it be powered by an Anker Powerbank? I have a 6 day shoot coming up which will need the camera on from 0830 to 1800hrs?

How is this for star lapse photography?
@BiolapseStudios3 жыл бұрын
You really need a dslr or something similar with a fast wide angle lens and a much better sensor for star work.

Do You have a video of how you make your trigger?
@BiolapseStudios2 жыл бұрын
Not really, I gad to design some little circuit boards and have them manufactured. I built probably a dozen of these if you are interested shoot me an email. Chris@biolapse.com

Fantastic content! Can I do time laps of highways, and moving clouds too? And is it possible to make decent income with time laps videos?

Thanks for the review. I purchased it based on your review. First day I got it using the app, I selected Timelapse, then I selected duration, and set it for eight hours. Left and went to work. It perfectly captured a time lapse of first snowfall. Awesome The second and third consecutive days I made the same selections, battery was fully charged, but both times the camera shut off after about 10 minutes. The first recording I left for work all day so my phone was not connected to it any longer. The second and third time I was home both times and the camera was wifi connected to the phone and I went to sleep. Would that affect it? It’s not near extreme heat nor cold. Sitting in inside in about 70°. Thx Any thoughts as to why it shut off?
@BiolapseStudios2 жыл бұрын
Check the power settings. If it's not on battery it will turn off its wifi and go into sort of s sleep mode but it will won't interfere with the shoot. To wake it tap the power button and you should be able to get back in. If on battery the wifi should stay enable the entire time, and if you connected it to your home network it should show as online in the camera selection page
