@ronpierson You don't have to be an ATM technician to see that you would be putting your technicians at grave risk to service an ATM in that location. My first thought was why on earth would a financial institution place an ATM THERE of all places? That says to me that this bank doesn't care about worker safety. They can get the money replaced by the Feds but they can't revive a dead employee. I'm with you. I would never service a machine there. Reminds me of when I was a toll collector. After collecting tolls all day we would have to retrieve the money from a multiple locked metal safe box on the toll island. The locks were old and very tricky and sometimes it would take a good bit of time to open them. A couple weeks into my employment I noticed major damage to one of the metal boxes I was leaning over to retrieve money. When I asked my trainer what had happened to the metal she told me a semi truck had crashed into it. It was exactly where I was standing and leaning over. My toll collector career ended that day. I never looked back.

Welcome to the new American "justice" system. Armed robbery used to get a person 20 yrs., but now post 2020 they just get probation which they never adhear to the conditions of, continue to commit felonies, and just get more probation. This is nationwide... If I didn't know any better I'd think they deliberately want the chaos of criminals on the streets. Add in all the additional criminals coming from around the globe and El Salvador ( admitted to) emptying their prisons and shipping the inmates here (Venezuela has quite possibly done so as well). We haven't seen anything yet, things are gonna get a whole lot worse once our economy inevitably ( deliberately) collapses. People either refuse or are too ignorant to see this set up for destruction from within.

And another type of privilege is that the guard had his eye on the white guy with tattoos, but didn't even notice the black guy/gal sneaking up behind him. @pmpwizАй бұрын
20 years ago I was in an airport in S. Korea. There were two guards loading up an ATM in a large open area in the main terminal. One of the guards dropped a huge stack of cash (had to have been at least $10,000 - largest Korean bill at the time was only the equivalent of about $10 US) and it broke open and went flying everywhere spread out maybe 100 square feet or more. As they were casually picking up the money they were laughing and giggling about it, no rush, no concerns. Nobody was trying to steal it, or interfere. The guards packed it all up and finished their job. Amazing contrast with American reactions. Always felt safe in Korea. They now have armed guards patroling the airport. Times have changed.
