If I'm being honest I personally prefer the way Slug used to rap like late 90s early 2000s of course I realize hes not in that same headspace anymore that was 20 years ago. But Aes imo just keeps getting better and better he changes his style and voice and flow up on like every single album (or even almost every single) nowadays which keeps him super interesting to me. And then of course DOOM is a legend.

@@0oidiedinatimemachineo024 Agreed, Aesop’s discography just keeps getting deeper. I don’t believe in having the lame “Goat” conversation but Aesop to me has to be in it or will be when all is said and done. One of my few rap heros that is still slaying. Will always love Slug but his concepts to me are way shallower and his rhymes are far more basic now compared to the Deep Puddle Dynamics days. Obviously Doom is Doom.

This was the perfect song to open up his set at Reggae Rise Up in St Pete FL last weekend, it’ll blow your mind hearing it through concert speakers 😮💨😮💨

So sick!! Always love a new Atmosphere album. Especially with these Kings on the tracks. Pressed is just as good a song on this album. Wish there was a video for that song as well. Be sick to have like a cypher, camera spinning around the cypher circle but focusing on each lyricist as they spit. Yeahhhhh

Wow what a legendary lineup! Also I feel like it’s rare for a quality to be presented top to bottom in a row. Everyone did their thing and came in a way we haven’t really heard them yet. But Jesus Christ Aes had me rewinding every single line. This video is so creative and weird! God really does love ugly with that last creature huh?

mf doom is actually the very first rapper I really got into when I was a kid and aesop rock and slug grew to be a couple of my favorite artists of all time. love the micheal larson drop too. holy hell. this song is so goddamn good, it might be sentimental.
