A cool little video demonstrating my 4 atomic watches getting perfectly in sync after a successful reception after being manually set to the wrong time and date. The watches are 1xGW-6900 and 3xGW-9400

It really is impressive and definitely looks cool. I have a Casio 5610 G Shock and it syncs every night at 1am. My watch takes about 2 minutes to complete the sync. I am from Ireland and receive my signal from the UK so I always get the strongest signal L3. I love my Casio.

Superb, Ive just got a used GW5610 square with this feature for £50, I live in the U.K. where the signal is strong. The technology is great. As much as I like my mechanical watches, these can't be beaten as beater, fit for purpose timepieces. Approved now for use by NASA, who needs an Omega 'Man in the Moon' now haha. Great video!

One note, if you are not in range of the atomic clock radio transmission there are smartphone apps that can be used to sync the watch. I have a Casio Wave Ceptor and have used the Android app successfully. The app syncs the watch to the phone time, but there's also an app to sync the phone to atomic time, so there's a fix for no radio reception by the watch.
@jouwenlee78295 жыл бұрын
What's the Apps?
@coachafella5 жыл бұрын
@@jouwenlee7829 In the US use the WWVB Emulator app. There's also a version for Japan timezones called JJY Emulator. Those run on Android and use the phone speaker to sync the watch to the phone's time. On Android you can use the ClockSync app to sync the phone time to atomic time. There are also apps for iPhones but I don't know the names.

Hello, I need you to answer a question. I have two Multiband 6 watches, a Rangeman and a GW-7900. They both sync almost every night, but on the 7900 only the tiny streaks appear on the display for a bit. why? Thanks
@Th3Acc0mplice4 жыл бұрын
So if you say you’re on the edge at 900km does that mean I will never be able to get mine to sync at 2000km in Georgia? Or is there a closer tower?
@HitoriGnocchi5 жыл бұрын
i just tried this with 3 of my solar atomics (GW6900, GW-M500A/M530A) the GW-M500A/530A both synced together but 1 is 1.5s faster than the other. the GW-6900 finished sooner so it has a faster time of 15s ahead of the other pair. In the end all 3 have different times which is really odd. Not sure why there would be such a large difference in time even though in your video all 4 of your started out different yet synced together in the end.

The quickest a watch can sync is 2 minutes as that is how long it takes for the atomic clock to send all the information, as it works like someone is telling you: The year is ... The month is.... The date is.... The hour is .... Etc.

Pozdrav 😉

Not sure why that happen and Casio just replaced the watch with the G9300. Also what's really strange is I have a Protrek prw 1500 and that has developed the same issue with the LCD. Not sure why this has happen but that watch is under warranty and going back for repair for the 2nd time for the same issue! @zarulkhaliff51076 жыл бұрын
Thanks Watch Geek. Actually, I've found a way better. Just use JJY simulator in case we only received L1 signal. Install that app, start the RC on a g shock and run the simulator and all we need to do afterwards is wait. :)
