Atomos Academy Ep.1 How feature film ‘Born for the Sabre’ was shot with Atomos Ninja Inferno and GH5

Watch cinematographer Krzysztof Sieniawski explain to Rodney Charters ASC (DP of ‘24’, Dallas, Magnum P.I. and others) how he and his team shot the action packed feature length docu-drama ‘Born for the Sabre’ using the Panasonic GH5 and Atomos monitor-recorders. The film, now airing on the History Channel, has an impressive big budget look, but was shot for just $120,000.
In this first episode Krzysztof talks how they delivered amazing images to screen by harnessing the Atomos Ninja Inferno, Panasonic GH5 and old Nikkor lenses with anamorphic adapters. They discuss the motivation behind the movie and why he believes it is the right time for this sort of historical action drama.

I did not hear the name of the Lens Adapter clearly, can someone please advise?

Is KOWA adapter but it would be interesting to know which model and how they managed not to have double focus.

It kinda looks like they’re focusing just by moving their feet! (Ie focusing in advance and then moving when they need to move!)

For the anamorphic lens I bet for Kowa 16H or 35J HCDNA or Rapido FVD can solve the double focus problem. My bet is HCDNA.
