Hiya few questions if you don't mind? 1. Do you have to go into the rear view app to see the rear view camera or can you set it to come on when you reverse? 2. If you're recording using the front dash cam, can you exit the app to do other things, say like use the rear dash cam to reverse, while the front one is still recording footage?(multitasking etc) 3. If you can multitask the apps, did you find the 1gb ram version to be sufficient for running different apps at the same time? 4. Did the rear cam come with the unit as standard?. 1. You do have to go into the app if you didn't connect the REAR camera to the reverse. I usually don't set it up that way. I like to turn it on when I want. You can set it up to come on when you reverse. 2. I haven't tried to record then exit the FRONT camera app. I does run fine when it is playing music while running the FRONT or REAR camera is just running, not sure about recording. 3.1 GB is fine for cameras and music, even bluetooth is fine. No Netflix tho 4. It did not come with the unit, I picked it up a few weeks later. Thanks for watching! Peace

You could hook a backup camera and use the front facing camera to monitor your child or the other way around. You just have to wire it that way. This camera is usb so it really easy.
