@@snooganslestat2030 The entire "profession" of chiropractors is a scam. Nothing they do is doing anyone any good. Or, well, they themselves earn *a lot* of money from people who don't have good enough health insurance/no insurance at all, and are desperate _(and people who has bought into this crap but don't have any real, serious issues and really should have spent the money on a great massage therapist instead)._ The only thing a chiropractor realistically can do is *temporarily* make you feel a bit better, but when the pain/discomfort comes back _(and it will come back)_ it's very often worse than before, so you go back to the chiropractor, get some temporary relief and then the pain comes back worse than before and the relief lasts a shorter while than it used to, so you go back more and more and more... It becomes a kind of addiction, in the same way that someone who's addicted to Opioids doesn't take drugs to get high anymore but *needs* to take them to not be really, *really* sick. These people go back to the chiro because the pain got better for a while and when it comes back they just want that relief again, and they don't really have any other viable options _(although a massage therapist is always a better investment than a chiro)_ unless they want to accumulate an insane amount of medical debt, since the US is a dystopian hellscape that doesn't support its population sufficiently by giving them free, universal healthcare. And in the US there's still this weird belief held by a looot of people that chiropractors actually are an authority on things like health, which is simply *wrong* and another show of the failure of America to help its citizens, but this time because of really bad and underfunded public education. It's all just really sad, and quite infuriating. And it's absolutely sickening that chiropractors get to call themselves "Doctor". There are *so* many horror stories of chiropractors doing unimaginable, life-changing damage to customers. There are even more stories than I am comfortable with of chiropractors who have ended up k-lling customers by breaking their spine, neck etc. There's *no* stories out there of anyone with a *serious* issue who got real, lasting help by a chiropractor who didn't also go to a great physiotherapist and had a good medical team, which begs the question; Did the chiro really do anything at all, or was it really the physiotherapy and the medical team who helped these people? I'd wager it's the medical professionals who helped and not the chiropractor, but I'm definitely not an expert.

And I'm fortunate enough to have wonderful adoptive parents who were in the right place both financially, career-wise and mentally to take on a kid like me. If one or more of those things aren't in place when you seek to adopt, it should be an instant rejection on the application. @tessiepinkman If you make that argument in America, you will be called a bigot because you think only “rich” people should be allowed children. It’s funny, the same people who Scandinavia to be superior are simultaneously adamantly opposed to the core principles of homogeneous culture and laws around childcare and adoption. Mind you, considering Norway’s wholesale embrace of Lebensborn and then the country’s atrocious abuse record towards the children who resulted means I’m not holding them as a shining light for adoption principles. The used those poor children as scapegoats for their own evil embrace of Nazism, locking them in orphanages where they were abused specifically because they were products of the same principles the country formerly adopted, and to this day have never been compensated. Norway basically ignored the abuse then buried the claimants in litigation until they began to die off from old age. So again, not my idea of a shining light for adoption.

Holy shit I know these people! They had drama in my hometown before they moved out west. It was heavily speculated (known) that they were stealing from their kids. Crazy. Edit: the house, the cars, everything was all true. They had to leave town really quickly when they moved. We peeked into the windows of their old house (it sat empty for decades) and there were kids bikes in the garage, open wine bottles on the counter, mail everywhere. Didn’t seem like they were planning to move. But those poor kids, especially the twins. Their parents are manipulative MASTERMINDS. Especially the dad. I’m sure that at this point they actually believe what he’s saying. He did steal the money, but he justified it however he wanted and they believed him. They became incredibly wealthy right around the time those twins were adopted. They were so young (7?) and were probably enjoying the wealth and the spending. plus, these were their new parents! what were they going to do? Speak up at age 7?? Regarding the twins sitting on either side of the father-adoptees often deal with psychological and social maladjustment, affecting things like trust and security in themselves and in others, and can lead to relationships that share symptoms with Stockholm Syndrome. While there'll never be a “perfect” adjustment during the adoption process, there are several supportive steps that can taken by the adoptive parents to mitigate any potential issues. Given the “Christian manner” Dr P (allegedly) adheres to, I wouldn't be all that surprised if the adoption was done with the sole intent of appearing more altruistic or “Christlike” to outsiders as opposed to genuinely wanting to support, care for, and provide the best life possible to the twins

I'm so happy I saw the interview with you on Leon's channel. Very satisfying. I'm a 48 yr old mom of 4 kids ages 15-30. My youngest son turned me on to your channel a couple years ago and I'm glad he did. I made a comment on one of Leon's videos last year and Leon replied to my comment. He was SOOOO salty 🧂 🤣 😂!! not gonna lie, it is comparatively extremely easy to get a chiropractic licence compared to any sort of medical qualification, There is no conclusive evidence that chiropractic manipulative treatment is effective for the treatment of any medical condition, except perhaps for certain kinds of back pain. So when a chiropractor calls themselves a doctor, you should run in the other direction. I could become a chiropractor tomorrow if i wanted, but i have a sense of morality and dont want to be a scammer, cause that is effectively what chiropractors are, go to an osteopath if you want your stuff clicked, at least they have to go through years of training.

fun fact about pleading guilty - if you go, "whatever, fine, i'm guilty," the judge will not accept your plea and will offer to set the case for a jury trial. if you go, "i mean... there's more to it than that. it didn't go like that," or "yes, but i had a reason," they have to open pandora's box. they will not continue with a normal pleading. so no, they didn't just go, "blah! fine, we're guilty!" their attorney would not tell them they're guilty and must plead guilty and the judge would not accept a plea that is not knowing or factually accurate. this isn't to say there aren't countless defendants who have given guilty pleas because they felt pressured to or because they felt they wouldn't be believed. there are. but pleas are on the record. you are under oath. the judge is wearing black robes. they take those things very seriously. and also, why wouldn't an attorney want you to continue to trial? they get paid for this. this is their job. what they usually _won't_ do is _demonstrably_ lie on the record. if there's a video recording of you murdering someone, they won't get in front of the judge and say you didn't murder someone. if things really went down the way these people described in this obviously staged video (which - whether or not he's being honest and was innocent, i think it's extremely inappropriate for the children to be present for it lol), they'd have taken it to trial. they'd believe they were justified. but they didn't take it to trial. they pled guilty. because they were guilty.

Absolutely this happens, was a store here in San Francisco, but they are/were all over, I think it started with Gold in the name, they sold detoxers, lotions, and all that other stuff. One day while I was walking by, a sales guy literally got in my way, stopped me in the street trying to get me to come in and pay like $500 for what looked like a sample bottle of face lotion. Then, when I said no, I have my own products, another guy had had accidentally wandered by too close to the door, and used the "I can't afford it" line to get away. Guess what the salesguy did? He tried to convince me to buy the lotion for the other guy. They were insanely aggressive at that place.
