Funny thing is, the only people I know who pay for "luxury" brands are people who claim to be poor. Some of the best "poor" brands I usually see is Micheal Kors and Coach. I don't have a good opinion about those brands either because I only ever see them on certain types of women and it's women I would NOT want to emulate. Either too drugged up, have as much money as they do teeth. At least in the state I live in, the only people buying these brands are usually not the most upstanding citizen, nor do they even look like one. And from what I have heard, that's actually their target demographic because people with money aren't usually buying a lot of luxury brands, unless they are famous and advertising for a designer. I much rather spend $20 on a shirt that looks like $200 than spend $200 on a shirt that looks like $20. That's how I see those brands as well. Even Kate Spade, though, while I don't see too many people with her clothing, I have been way too much of their clothing line to know that the looks are HEAVILY inspired by trailer trash of Florida with the pink flamingoes son everything. And bows. And prison garb. She LOVES those three things for some reason!

However, people picked up on it and it started becoming a thing. So he began exaggerating the swallowing without chewing because it's what viewers wanted to see more of. So it didn't start out as a gimmick but became one, as with so many things on tiktok, sadly. The short form content format ends up pigeon-holing people into quick bites of amusement. No pun was intended but I'll take it.

Yea it may seem like a lot, but if they made it less the whole show would be reading and hearing chats. At the end of the show he will usually lower the TTS to around $30 and the chats come pouring in non stop. Most of the time it is so fast that there is no room to talk or respond. At the begininning of the show it used to be pretty much any amount, but he had to raise it because they began to overwhelm the show.

The neighborhood would keep the youth in line. The old timers wanted better for the kids. When I moved into the neighborhood, I was already a lost cause. I raised an autistic stepson. He did not chew his food. Ever. I started raising him when he was 4-1/2, his diet consisted of plain rice or plain spaghetti noodles, when I came along. Due to him not chewing, he often would regurgitate the noodles. It took me years, to teach him to eat other foods, and to chew properly. I spent many weeks, when he was 9; 2 hours a night at dinner teaching him to chew meat. Since then, he eats virtually everything provided. Except Turkey Stuffing, he hates that for some reason. Tl:dr... chew yer' damn food ! 😂

When I was a toddler I used to swallow pasta specifically because I hated the texture for some reason.
