video of my long term review of the ats chemical 505 crf and cro fuel and oil cleaner
you can buy the fuel cleaner here - amzn.to/49pkBof
please like and subscribe if you find the video helpful! I am trying to grow the channel!
The only other channel I have seen talk about the ATS Chemical 505 CRF Fuel and Oil Cleaner products is the Scotty Kilmer Channel and I have found him to be a very reliable source for automotive knowledge so I figured I would check this product out
about the ats fuel cleaner from their website
An advanced pour-in fuel treatment that enhances gasoline to remove carbon deposits from the internal combustion engine and engine components. This chemical mixture is proven to remove carbon from; fuel injectors, induction ports, induction valves, and combustion chambers. Carbon deposits on the injectors can cause drivability problems and poor fuel mileage. This advanced formula can clean coking from the port style injector and the direct style injector; increasing engine performance and fuel economy.

I bought a 2003 Buick Park Avenue, 120,000 miles, in April of 2022. On cold start ups, I had a very annoying and LOUD hydraulic lifter tick. You could hear it down the block. I bought this, after watching Scotty Kilmer, he recommended it. It worked! It has been roughly 9 months, no more tick. I change my oil every 3,000 to 5,000 miles. Follow the directions, it will be worth the hour of your time, and money. I subscribed... ;-)

Here is what I have found with my 2004 Ranger, now with 96K miles. I purchased it with 86K on it, did a normal oil/filter change right away. Drove it to see what /how things behave, so far so good! I have done both treatments twice now. Once at 90K and then at 96K. I do my oil & filter at 3K pretty much exactly. The fuel treatment woke my engine up at the 90K treatment and so far, its still making a difference with the 2nd treatment at 96K. The oil treatment, the first treatment I wiped the dip stick on a clean paper towel BEFORE the treatment and then again after the 20 min high idle before draining it. The difference was night & day. The before swipe was what we all know as a typical used oil appearance, the swipe just before draining was the blackest, thinnest, substance that I have ever seen! It didnt even resemble oil, the drained oil was like water, but super black & shiny! The second oil treatment (@96K) I did the same thing with the dipstick test's, and this time there was virtually no difference color wise. Yes, the treatment had thinned out the oil to that watery consistency, but really no dirtier than the 3K oil. At this point in time, I believe that my engine oil paths have been cleaned out so well that I wont be redoing this treatment again for about 15K miles. In my opinion, this stuff works! I used the ATS chemical 505 cro oil system treatment in my 2014 Hyundai sonata 2.4L. As you know these cars are notorious for burning oil out the exhaust in the form of blue smoke. Since I did the treatment and changed my oil, my car went from 23-24 mpg to 28 mpg. I am now 800 miles into the fresh full synthetic oil change since the oil system treatment. I check the oil dipstick constantly. It has been 800 miles of driving and I have burnt no oil. I still have the same level on the dipstick, a smidge over the F dot on the dipstick. Before the oil system treatment, I was consuming at least a quart by this point, now I' am consuming no oil. I also experimented on my 2010 Hyundai accent gs with 176000 miles on it. It has burnt oil ever since I can remember, to the point where I had to add a few quarts between oil changes. I added 4 oz of marvel mystery oil to the crankcase and drove it for 200 miles and then changed the oil and filter. I have now clocked 700 miles since the oil change and the dipstick shows that it's still a bit above the F dot on the dipstick as well. I hope this information can help other people.

Thanks for the video! I discovered this stuff on Scotty Kilmer's channel, then started looking around for other videos-- not many out there, so again thanks for taking the time. Last week after watching your video I ordered the pair (oil/fuel) direct from the company (back in stock as of Nov 2022). My '06 Ford Ranger 2.3L is/was consuming oil and smoking on startup. Replaced the PCV valve and that mostly solved the smoking. I topped off the oil level right after, and have been monitoring consumption (which I'm still doing-- 200 miles so far). I want to have a 500-mile (or so) baseline of consumption before doing the oil treatment, then compare consumption to the previous results. I'd be happy to post my findings here if you're interested~

@@MoOutdoorsandReviews UPDATE: After using the CRF (fuel treatment) there was a near immediate noticeable improvement in throttle response. I'm still monitoring the MPG, which has been climbing a little, from 24 to 25, but it's still too early to record a definitive result. CRO: prior to the oil treatment the Ranger was consuming just over 1-quart of oil every 500 miles. When preforming the CRO treatment, I noticed on the garage floor directly below the muffler, a puddle of condensation that had oil in it. Also, with every startup it would spit oil from the exhaust pipe. While the CRO treated oil was draining from the engine, I noticed occasional globs in the draining oil-- so something was getting cleaned out of the engine(!) Replaced the old oil with Pennzoil Platinum Full Synthetic which contains cleaners of its own (so it claims). 500 miles after the treatment, oil consumption has improved slightly, with oil level now reading about 1/4" from the fill line. However, there is no longer oil in the condensation or spitting from the exhaust at startup. To my surprise, engine RPMs has improved; before the treatment, 3rd gear at 40mph was 3,000 rpm. After the treatment 3rd gear at 40mph is now 2500rpm. Highway speeds strained to reach 70mph before, while it now freely reaches 75. Since I don't like to go more than 70 it now requires more attention to keep it under 70. I'll continue to monitor the trucks performance, and likely change the oil again at 2k miles. I suspect the oil control rings are/have been clogged with carbon (for several years the truck was mostly inactive with its previous owner, not reeving beyond 2K). At the next oil change, I may run another CRF/CRO treatment to further clean out old carbon deposits. So far I'm quite pleased with the results.

I have a vehicle that is using oil but it doesn't smoke and no oil inside the tailpipe. I am going to try this stuff and see if I can free the rings and get a better seal and see what happens with the oil consumption. Thanks for a great video. I watch Scotty Kilmer and he recommends this product, as you said, so why not spend a few bucks and see if it helps.

I had a day off and I ran it through my car for like ten min in the morning brining it to 3500 rpm for like 30 seconds and then cycling to idle. Then I turned it off and came back out two hours later and did it again. My idea was that the cleaner would soak into the carbon and then I would do it again for another ten min of 2000rpm to 3500rpm cycle to idle. I did my wife's car yesterday and she had little splinter looking pieces of carbon rht was left in the bottom of the oil catcher. This stuff is strong as when I took the oil out the smell ws crazy strong. I'll probably do a second oil change at 3k miles. I would say once a year is good as you don't want to overdo it. It definitely works for sure. I ran the gas cleaner through first and I used like a quarter of a tank. Then it got down to below e and I put in a drop more gas and then went down to e again and then filled it up. I didn't notice any change via the gas versison sadly.

Be mindful of not allowing your gas tank to get close to Empty. Gasoline serves as a lubricant (not many people know that; thank you Scotty!). If gas gets too low, there's less lubricant (gas) for the fuel pump to operate effectively, thus wearing it out faster. Just put the fuel treatment when you're at 1/4 tank, then fill up. The process of filling will assist in the mixing of the two liquids. ***Never drive below a 1/4 tank***

Hey man, thank you for taking the time to make this video. Liked and subscribed! Question though: When you pour the Oil cleaner in, was your oil level full? Or should you wait until your oil level is a little low before pouring it in. I haven't been able to find the exact answer to that question. Take care man! Also, how's the car been?

car has been doing good, you are suppose to put it in, run the car for 20 minutes and then drain the oil and put new oil in, otherwise you are going to send the broken up carbon throughout your engine and clog things up, so wait to put it in when you are doing an oil change

@@MoOutdoorsandReviews My apologies but it didn't appear that you understood this man's comment/questions. If the oil level in your engine is FULL and then add in this cleaning agent, the amount of fluids in your engine would then be ABOVE the recommended amount (over-full). The question he asked: Is it ok to add the cleaning agent into an engine that is completely "Full" of oil? Or Would it be best to let the oil level drop a little from "FULL" and THEN add in the cleaning agent? I would guess either way is ok but I have zero experience with this product or any other like it so I don't know if there are any recommendations by the manufacturer either way.

I'd like to see visual results for the oil cleaner but without tearing the engine down, that would be impossible. The claimed results for ATS 505CRF are a little different and is the treatment that I'm most interested in, and can be viewed without tearing the engine down. I have a 2018 Subaru with DI. I've been using CRC GDI IVD every 10,000 miles and while I think it's doing what CRC claims it will, I haven't scoped the intake valves to check it yet.

The CRO solvent was literally as clear as when I put them in while the other INSTANTLY stated removing the deposits on my plugs. I wish I had recorded it so everyone could see. To make it worse. I bought some cheap stuff you have all seen. And it made a visible difference. I’m not going to name it because that’s not what important. It’s important that whatever is in CRO and CRF had no effect on my oil or fuel. I know people will argue this but I saw what I saw. Waste your money but I never will again.

I would like to find out if it works, but I placed my order months ago, no product, more importantly no response to phone calls or emails. I paid $60 for nothing. What a terrible company.

I need to amend my earlier comment. I spoke with the THE REAL ATS Chemical company on the phone today. They were professional, and incredibly customer-oriented. They sent me product out of their stock. The problem was, I ordered from their distributor, on ATScarbonclean. They use ATS chemical logo, but are NOT the ATS chemical company. It was this distributor that took my money and disappeared. ATS is just finding out about disgruntled customers like myself and not only sending them product, but calling to apologize. THAT, is customer service. If you order be SURE to order directly from the ATS chemical website, and NOT the one that says ATS carbon clean. They are a bunch of crooks.

Is it ok to put this stuff in your engine beforehand and then drive to the mechanic afterwards for an oil change?

Just got mine and not sure. But you could also drive to the mechanic and then pour it in while in the parking lot, wait 15-20 minutes running your car on idle then turn the car off and get it changed

I called their customer support, and they said it's ok to drive to the mechanic. I just had to keep the rpms at a steady pace, and at 30mph or lower
