On Blender 4.0 I wanst able to lock the bones to each other with Ctrl-P for some reason, the menus are a bit different also, the "single bone" option didn't even show up. But a work around that I found is to use the "Child of" (Properties > Bone constraint) feature, selecting the object and then the bone you want it to be locked to using the "Target" picker, and checking the "Set inverse" box in case the positions get messed up for some reason (like it happened to me). I tried locking the model to the Righ Hand IK Rig thing at start, and it didn't work (I supposed because it's not actually a bone and I was too noob to notice that earlier), so be sure to attach bones to bones exactly as in the vid in order to save some of your time. Thanks a lot for this vid, Balu, it saved my ass.

yeah im tryna do a child of constraint . So when i animate i can turn it on an off but im having an issue with the location. do both objects origin point need to be the same or something cuz when i do child of. ITs way of to the side

First of all thank you for all the information. That was very helpful. I have a problem with the attach sword exporting to the unity. When I export it via .fbx to unity the sword got worse with its location and sometimes it even lose its attach I guess. How would I solve this problem ?

@@k0fteG Çözdüm. Kılıcı hand boneuyla parentlaman gerekiyor. Unity modifierları applylamadığın sürece görmüyor. Applyladığında da animasyon bozuluyor. Parent child ilişkisiyle halledilebiliyor. Unity bunu görüyor ve kılıcın locationıyla ilgili bi sorun da yaşamıyorsunuz.

that has to do with the model its self. it needs to be modeled and animated to where it is holding a 2 handed object. this is the Rigging part, rig the weapon to 1 hand because the model animation should already be animated to hold a 2 handed weapon
