I always said to myself, you will never understand eren's trajectory without ever going through it. A child who was the victim of an entire system and world that no one has ever gone through, only him. Eren is the most complex and complete character I have ever seen, he is a human being who does everything that a human being can do, from the good to the bad. Eren carries so much in his own mind and soul that it is unimaginable to try to understand what he feels.

One of the most tortured characters ever. He went through so much from such a young age. All he wanted was his and his friends freedom, and when push came to shove, everyone abandoned him, no one tried to understand him, no one treated him like a human, that’s all he wanted. To be treated like a person. Instead he got gaslit, caged up and treated like a monster by everyone, including his so called friends.

The only time he got any “freedom” was when he was being _used_ to fight or experimented on or training. Then too he was on a tight leash. And what you expected him to sit around doing nothing when Hange’s grand plan was to talk things through with Marley. Even after knowing they wouldn’t give two shits about it and are hellbent on eradicating the Eldians. Making Hange the commander was the biggest mistake right alongside of choosing to save Armin.

It’s even more annoying what they did to him in Season 3. Eren reaches his lowest point there and literally none of them took responsibility for their words. Jean, Armin, Levi etc. all constantly pushed into Eren’s head that he had to “make people’s sacrifices mean something.” They literally gave him his hero complex and when he broke down and realized it was far from the truth, that he was given his powers in a fucked up way, none of them helped him. Isayama didn’t want to give a “friendship” speech but if you look at what his “friends” said to him, it was awful. They had the audacity to say “we weren’t hoping much from you” and “we’ve been in rougher situations” when THEY were the ones who made Eren think he was “above” everyone else and that he HAD to do something. Eren had to pull HIMSELF together, no one helped. His “friends” were never his friends, they are a pathetic group of individuals who couldn’t even defeat Eren. Eren had to freaking commit suicide for them to win, which is hilarious to me. I genuinely think none of them deserved Eren or his sacrifice. They have superiority complexes and when shit really got serious, they couldn’t “sacrifice their humanity” like they drilled into Eren’s head. They’re a bunch of hypocrites. None them took proper repercussions for the war crimes they committed while Eren did. “No one is a villain in AoT” and it’s shown Eren did not want the Rumbling but he was forced into it by Ymir, yet he’s still punished at every turn. His friends commit war crimes but they get off Scott free. It all made no sense and Eren just continued to suffer even in death. Poor guy didn’t even get one W and his “friends” don’t count because as I stated, they weren’t worth it. Eren was made to suffer.

Eren was straight up manipulated and enslaved by Ymir to create the circumstances that she wanted so she could get some form of closure for her own life then she removed the titans. Eren and the rest of the cast where pawns on the boards Ymir was moving around. It would have been worth it had Eren succeed in killing off the world population and securing peace for Eldians but as we saw in the extra pages, without the power of the titans to defend themselves with, the world eventually destroys eldia and presumably most of the eldians get massacred. The only one that succeeds in their goals was Ymir herself, the little girl God that was responsible for literally everything.

Being used as a pawn for the sake of freedom is not something Eren regretted. The ending was absurd though. Ymir was actually taught that loving the king Fritz unconditionally even though he abused her was not right smh. All in all, never doubt that Eren got what he wanted and always remember that he went through all that with his spirit unbreakable.

@@sotiristsaousidis860 Eren is not only one of the most overrated characters in all of Attack On Titan everyone living him or wanting to be him, but he started off as an unlikable character that punched himself for attention from his fellow peers, risked killing everyone for the soul purpose of his own selfish gain with him going against orders multiple times. Grows up to be edgy for no reason, and yes edgy, in the manga he literally said to Zeke who was in their father's memories that "come on we haven't even gotten to when I eat father alive" that comment was not only unnecessary but also completely forgotten and was just in that panel to show how much Eren doesn't care. He then proceeds to almost die taking on The Jaw, Armored, and Cart without any help and was only saved by Zeke at the last second. Eren has been selfish, and continues to be selfish even when you find out his true intentions and true emotions he still did it for his own sake rather than his people like he said he did. So yes, there is more examples, but I believe that there's better characters in other anime and other media than Eren.

I keep coming back to this amv and ohh my god, you have outdone yourself on this one. Eren is really a true hero, the kind that doesn't need recognition or appreciation. He knows what the problem is and knows what needs to be done to fix it. Erase the world, there is no sugarcoating it. And the music you chose showcases the dark heroism and extreme altruism of Eren's character. Thank you for that amv again. Absolutely magnificent!

I'm tabling a comment for the first time in a video, why is it so hard to realize what happened two months ago in the last chapters? Why did it take a turn like that after all between it’s walls it wasn’t that bad? Why after two months I can’t get right and tell me that it’s really produced it could only live 13 years after all. Why a character that doesn’t exist plays so much on a person who lives? Why does a drawing bring out all our inner emotions? Why after two months I’m still in pain and there’s a vacuum in me after that? Why? Eren tells me why? You were so kind to this boy who was stealing peace, and well you had it ... Goodbye
