Hi guys, just to clear up the confusion with what happened with Jean, Female Titan, Armin. No spoilers here don't worry. When FT was about to slap Jean, Armin said "Jean, don't let the suicidal maniac die in vain." Suicidal maniac here refers to Eren. Due to the fact that Jean called Eren a suicidal maniac in the past. Jean, Armin, FT, three of them knew who Armin was talking about. Armin here made a bet, that the FT was looking for somebody, and that somebody was Eren. So when she hears what Armin said, she stopped mid action in the slap to recollect her thoughts. Did she accidentally killed Eren during her massacre of the right wing of the formation? Now she had to figure out her next plan of attack. Hope it clears thing up for both of you guys! Love your reactions, keep up the awesome work, can't wait to see more!

Indeed. And they're not the only anime-only watchers who picked it up right away. I binged watched too 4 years ago, and I never made the connection, such that the Stohess reveal took me completely by surprise. I was so confused I even thought the trap was for Eren, not Annie. In hindsight though, the FT's identity was so obvious with the hair and eye color. I really wonder why I never suspected Annie.
