It's amazing that Hiroyuki Sawano and Kohta Yamamoto put togethet in work for a only track and to be in the last part of aot, what a masterpieces of osts
@Ferimotes-ez5hd Жыл бұрын
It's only Kohta that composed this track, well rather, Kohta that CREATED this track. The reason for crediting Sawano in it is because it uses his melody of the main theme but outside of that had no involvement in this track (Which isn't saying anything bad, this track is still amazing just wanted to clarify)

@@Ferimotes-ez5hd FYI, Sawano is Kohta's teacher and he's very likely involved in most of the tracks even the ones he's not credited in, be it as an instrument artist or in arrangement. It's the same way Kohta is always present on Sawano's projects and in live performances often uncredited.

To break this down into sounds that we're already familiar with, the first section to 1:28 pulls loosely from "Ashes on the Fire". The synth lead and percussion hit at 1:30 is from "Ashes on the Fire" as well. A recognizable synth grind from "APETITAN" can be heard at 1:39, then faintly at 2:54 and repeating briefly from there. I _believe_ 2:04 to 2:38 is the melody from "Footsteps of Doom", which appears again in a couple places. 4:06 to 4:19 is "Splinter Wolf". Of course, 4:48 is good ol' "ət'aek on Titan", blended with "Ashes on the Fire" at 5:13, which then continue together until the end of the piece. The most notable changes in that are 5:25 and 6:03. In short? Ultimate composer collab. God bless these gentlemen for their incredible work.

Just adding onto that, beginning at 5:39 you can hear a sped up version of the synth line from YouSeeBIGGIRL/T:T :)

Around 2:55 minutes in you also hear these strings that sound reversed, with the same chords as heard in AoTs3-1000略. I imagine there's even more little things hidden here and there, this one's honestly a masterpiece.

Just the fact that the ending of a masterpiece show didn’t flop is great for me. It feels like so many shows today have endings that don’t feel good enough. AoT? It’s ending is more than enough. It was spectacular. They really outdid themselves and you can tell they put their heart and soul into every moment.
Easily the best part of the song. It feels desperate and heroic.
