Ive watched all the AOE videos I could get my hands into and this is by far the most mindblowing and perfectly well put one. I had never comer across an AOE explanation focused on love. Instead, all theories end up revolving around Mikasa, except this one. Also, following different Erens from different timelines since ch 123 / Ep 80 made my jaw fall to the floor, and it makes perfect sense. If AOE really happens, we hopechads will be victorious, but you guys who put so much effort into these videos with all the thought process behind it will be the real heroes. Kudos, my friend.

I believe this would happen in AOE from this analysis, i figured that Eren= Ymir Mikasa= king Fritz So long Eren choose mikasa, the loop is still there, but if he choose Historia, then he will gain freedom from the curse. From the song , The Rumbling itself give away the hints from Eren POv “All i ever wanted to do is the right thing, i never wanted to be the king, i swear” - historia path “ All I ever wanted to do is to save your life, I never wanted to grab a knife, I swear!” -mikasa path SHOOTTTT IM CRYINGGGG RIGHT NOWWW!!! Isayama give us option to choose which ending we like. Cabin timeline = mikasa choose Eren and still not happy “ i feel that i shoulnt be here” Manga timeline = Eren choose mikasa and die but Paradis still will be in war AOE = Eren choose Historia and gain freedom We know mikasa obsessed with Eren but after we learn that, actually Eren obessed with mikasa that he said, i want her to think about me for a looonnngg time and never want to see Mikasa with anyone else Talk about wrong person,right time😭 Sorry for bad english

I know u hoping for AOE for whatever reason but to me its not only bcs i shipped these 2, its more about Eren’s decision not conflicted with his personality.Eren’s decided to do the rumbling based on his selfishness to seek freedom but he chose a timeline that not effected his friends bcs that his personality. He cares about his friends and its a win win situation for him. He died and gain a moment of freedom also his friends got to live long life. I know u will said Isayama originally want to make everyone die but even in OVA explains, MIKASA CANNOT PROTECT EREN BCS EREN ALWAYS CARRIES DEATH NO MATTER WHERE HE GOES. By choosing manga timeline, will not contradict these two. Eren personality and his ambition. I accept Eren’s needs to die, I just want Mappa to do justice to the last chapter. Not being a hopechad by hoping Eren’s live and suffer bcs all his friends die. You believe what what u wanna believe, if Mapa decide to do AOE, no problem to me as long as theres explanation to it.

Probably one of the best AOE theory Ive seen among mang, but the way Eren was written in the manga, the manga timeline happened the way it was was because of himself. Manga eren had memories of the cabin timeline and understood that with no mutual love, Paradis still gets destroyed. So I wonder why he didnt inject these thoughts and influence himself on the manga timeline to learn to love Mikasa much early on? Maybe he is indeed an incel. But you made one thing clear, it doesn't matter what/how Eren ended up with Mikasa in any timeline, Mikasa is the trigger for his world to reset and create a new timeline, she herself is aware of her powers being able to do that (was explained in her OVA). So to make it clear; if Eren ends with Mikasa in however way, Eren will still die first BEFORE Mikasa due to the Ymir curse; and when Eren DIES, Mikasa RESETS the timeline, creating a never-ending loop. Ymir's love for Fritz was not mutual, it was one-sided. Fritz thought of her as a slave and made her his concubine, Ymir loved him for giving her life and purpose despite knowing the reality. Mikasa and Eren's love was not mutual, because both of them are incels (?) both being too shy to share their feelings toward each other, their love never got to bloom. So Mikasa needs to die in the anime timeline for Eren to break free of this loop and get secure his own future.

I copied this comment from the other fan as I found it pretty interesting and wanted to share it with you. "I remember someone pointing out chapter as starts with Attack titan (Kruger) destroying Marleyan ship and ends with Eren saying "Attack titan" and continues in 89 with Hanji visiting his cell and asking him what he means. Chapter 106 starts with Attack titan (Eren) carrying a Marleyan ship and ends with Eren saying "Fight, fight" and continues in 107 with Hanji visiting his cell and asking him what he means. So the chapters are clearly designed to be parallels«, 83/106 and 89/107. In both chapters 89/107 we have a scene where Eren and friends meet Historla prior to a scheduled meeting and there's a Scene in both of Eren smiling at Histooria. These happy scenes are contrasted when in both chapters Eren also becomes agitated because of Hlstoria's safety being in danger. In 89 he keeps the information about royal blood hidden and in 107 he rejects Zeke's plan. And finally, chapter 89 ends with Kruger telling Grisha to have a family«, and chapter 107 ends with Hlstorla being preenant. Coincidence?"

For the boat scene with Mikasa, a big difference is a angle of the camera, one is aiming down at her from above, the other is from below her aiming towards the sky showing they are completely opposite timelines.

Isayama mentioned that he was inspired by the movie the most when he was thinking of ending for AOT. For those who don't know.. in the movie the mist the main character has to kill his friends and his son. Whom he was protecting through out the movie. He had to kill them because they didn't want the monsters to get them and it was heart breaking for the character he killed them but he could not kill himself.. he tried to call the monsters but he realised that the military won and monsters were eliminated. And it was devastating for him and the audience because he killed his son his love interest and two other people who relied on him for their safety.. he killed them because he wanted good for them but it was all for nothing and he cries saying it was all for nothing and that's how the movie ends.. So getting inspired by that ending we can definitely understand isayama's motivations and intentions of hurting his audience.. now he said i changed the approach to my ending.. but it's still the same.. 1st of all think about it.. he wanted to hurt his readers.. and make them feel betrayed.. yet he said he changed his approach to ending.. even tho i believe the mist ending would also have been great for a show like aot.. but he changed it.. so now think why would a writer like isayama change ending to his master piece he definitely know the value and worth of the story.. so why would he change it? The only reason that makes sense is because he has a better ending.. And a better and more hurtful ending is what he wants to give us.. And i do believe that he will achieve that by making the story even more complex.. like introducing timelines and stuff.. while explaining why everything makes sense.

I'd like to mention "You know you had to kill her" from "Barricades". At first, I thought it was about Carla but now it seems like Mikasa was the one to be talked about. Eren didn't kill Carla directly. He just kept Dina away from Bertholdt. His purpose was to keep hoover alive and only then get rid of the mother. Mikasa will be murdered exactly by him. "Oh, my dirty hands... It never fades". Eren will survive and live with much guilt. Also, a lot of people think "Zero eclipse" is dedicated ONLY to YmirHisu, but they're wrong. It's about EreHisu too. "As long as I can see you but in secret" has nothing to do with Ymir/Historia. They didn't need to hide their relationship, but Yeager and Reiss did: both knew too much about the rumbling and the pregnancy. "I'll never, I'll never learn how to let you go" is NOT related to our "gays". They let go of each other: Hisu told Eren Ymir made her choice, so there's no need to bring her back. Ymir trusted Eren, left Historia to him, and chose death. But Eren... he would never sacrifice Reiss, endanger her or allow her to kill herself. About Historia... well, maybe she knew about the anime timeline too, so let eEen die in the manga, but in anime, she won't and will wait for him to come back alive. I don't know whether "but if there's no desire to get back out alive, you're a zero! / you're a hero?)" fits him or Hisu or both or even Ymir, but according to anr video the mc not only survived but also returned. Although Historia wanted to pass away before befriending Ymir, she was told to live and was safe after the time skip. But she didn't have to come back anywhere as was already at home. Ymir died after leaving Paradis, so Eren is probably the best option.

P.S: If an AOE really happens and they finish that talk on the farm on which they probably confessed their feelings and even proposed to each other after Hisu asked about having a baby (alongside a probable scene where they get "intimate", kinda like the scenes between Guts and Casca of "Berserk" and Kaneki and Touka of "Tokyo Ghoul", but that is absolutely unreliable), they could play "Name of Love" or "Friendships"(an unused OST for Season 4) during the scene!

Armin and mikasa = 50-year-plan / euthanasia All the memories yeager wanted to see after killing Rod couldn't be revealed no matter how many times he held historia's hands, but they were shown to him at that ceremony cause he was concerned about the Reiss's safety and asked himself: "What should I do?". He saw what his feelings towards her would lead to and decided to refuse her in the 1st and the 2and timelines In anime, putting the girl who saved you and the island that day above those who betrayed you and your homeland is pretty normal. Besides, we all know what happened to paradis after trusting it to his friends. This place is as much important to eren as them but if they don't want to protect it, he will do it himself and even will be ready to kill the loved ones You mentioned Kruger but forgot about these words: "Make a family, otherwise everything will repeat itself". Mikasa wasn't even married or pregnant at the end of the manga or the last anime episodes, but historia was about to have a baby. In the manga, eren didn't have a wife and a child, thus paradis was destroyed again (just like in see-you-later timeline). In anime everything will change If you were going to convince me eremika is canon, and armin with mikasa are more important to the mc, than nice try. It's obvious for you too how many times eren endangered them (not knowing if they would survive) and didn't trust them but was ready to tell historia about THE GENOCIDE and did everything to secure her 100 % unlike these two

I feel like if isayama told us the truth, the ending haters would be mad even more cause we would just realize aot is nothing but a fluke / a joke. He either 1) wants to convince us one more time he made the whole story by accident (which is not believable after such a great storyteller managed to create 131 awesome chapters) or 2) wants to answer all the questions honestly only after aoe is released, so he can finally say "I've been trolling you this whole time!!! I knew what freedom was to me! I WAS going to make Eren start a family and finish the rumbling! I was going to KILL his friends! I wanted to disappoint you and I DID it!" I see nothing romantic between Eren and Historia. I feel like even tho he likes her as a person he despises her actions and blames Historia for awakening his memories. Eren is forced to experience time from the past future and present all at once all because of Historia. Isayama teased the ErenxHistoria but blatantly showed us that it is and always has been Mikasa for Eren in that scene with Armin in the paths. And since he wrote the damn manga whether you like the scene or not that’s his conclusion to who Eren loves romantically.
