Yeah, wind is cool to listen to .... especially the harmonics that come out of a good gust of wind blowing through and around the pipe frame for my awning. I may be getting some from my next door (townhouses) neighbor's awning frame too. First time it happened I thought it was my gutter doing it (ya know, like coming loose) but I had it inspected by the installer and it is tight to the house .... so it's gotta be the awning frames. It really gets to howling when we have a good storm with high winds.

That was awesome!!! I’ve been in similar situations. I woke up with my dog on the trail to 60 mile an hour winds , intense rainfall, thunder and lightning. We packed up and had about 5 miles to the trailhead, trees falling all around, my dog kept stopping out of fear; couldn’t see 10 feet in front of me. The next day a tornado hit that trail so hard it was closed for almost two years. **side note - I always leave super comfy cotton clothes to change into when I get back to my Jeep, makes the long road home fantastic

I like seeing you make camp and how you set things up. But, what I would really be interested in is seeing you break camp in the nasty weather and pack everything so well in your pack again. It appeared that everything you brought was factory fresh packed in their cases. We all know nothing goes back in the case as well as it came out. Add in cold hands, wind, rain and fatigue and it can be a real challenge just to get everything back in the pack. And the pack usually ends up looking like walnuts stuffed into socks. I would love to see your technique and how you make the magic trick of getting everything back in the pack in miserable weather conditions.
