Decided to get a heavy session in tonight on incline. Needed to test strength. Surprised by result.

Great stuff! Inspirational. Suspect you have 140 already if you spare yourself on the sets prior.
@barrythomsonliftsАй бұрын

120 for 5 and 130 for 2! You have the strength for 140 already mate
@barrythomsonliftsАй бұрын
I reckon I might have 135kg now. 130kg for 2 was hard work. 5kg jump could end without a rep quite easily.
@damothomas5783Ай бұрын
I was thinking the same,if you got 7 of 120,I reckon you would of had the 140 for sure! Your not far off at all and you look strong af 💪 great work 😊

You me mentioned your bench was a bit sketchy before, is it all good for this kinda thing? Any way here we go again 😂 🙏

Hey. Yer bench is all good for incline as seat is angled for this just rubbish for flat bench
@FrankDangerfield-g1r29 күн бұрын
this is excellent lifting you need to do powerlifting bench comps at least,

Thanks mate. Like going for PBs but really enjoy volume training

100x10 then 110x5 then 120x5 then 130x2. If you went specifically for 1 rep max and saved your energy on the warm up sets like you did on your 160kg bench press video then you definitely had 140 for 1. This has to be road to 150kg i think
@barrythomsonliftsАй бұрын
I'm still doubting the 140kg for 1RM right now. I reckon I have 135kg. 150kg 1RM on incline would be insane!

How often do you train chest a week going for this and for your 160kg flat?
@barrythomsonliftsАй бұрын
Will be training chest 3 times every 8 days.
