Just found this channel. Built a shed and have a load of weights and a rack but I've convinced myself I'm too old at 43 to sort myself out. This channel is pretty inspirational!!

40 year old here from sheffield england. Man you are a huge inspiration ! Coming from someone who used peds and then have trained natural for the last 7 8 yrs. its very hard to push at that age. But i honestly can say am bigger and stronger then when i was using. Its guys like you who prove what can be done natural and after 40. Huge respect to you. Hope this channel gains more subs!!!

How many times you bench a week? I bench every two days people say I am overtraining, great channel love the way you actually do the business and not just talk about it.
@barrythomsonlifts9 күн бұрын
Bench 3 times a week. 1x flat 2x incline right now
@richt598610 күн бұрын
Nice lift, but you need a power rack to bench with safeties. I used to do this as well very dangerous. If you miss those catches that bar is on your head or Throat.

@@barrythomsonlifts I can tell you that if you start to squat your BP and General Strength will go through the roof... its hard "but when you get into it everything else is a doddle" I remember when 140kg seemed like a Grail Number "ive added 100kg to that now" thats ass to grass too... non of your knee bend shite.. but its consistency "your shit strong on BP" so move on to some other challenge!.. Ive gottcha buddy so dont sweat..
@alexenache694210 күн бұрын
I can do 210 on deads but squats are always an injury prone exercise for me don't know why despite using good form I feel the reason is going all the way down, some people are just better at different type of lifts 145 is my max on squats.

I haven’t done direct triceps for a few weeks . The other day I did lat pulldowns , DB hammer curls . DB normal curls and finished with lateral raises . The next two days my triceps were in agony. So obviously one of those exercises really hit my triceps . Which one I’m not sure . Maybe lateral raises . What do you think ?
