Taking into consideration your struggles at work lately, I want to shout out your resilience and your attention span. The phrase "things always get better" gets thrown around a lot, but it looks like things genuinely got better for you.

Thank you! Going into the morning, I was a little like "Oh shit, this is not going to work" so I very much surprised myself! And yes, it might be cliché but things do get better. It might feel like it's going on forever and then one day it stops. Hope you're doing well!

7k is so good! the most I've ever done in one day is 5k, and even that I've only done once. the fact that you could keep yourself on track for the whole day is so impressive!

Thank you, I definitely impressed myself because I could tell around 3PM that my attention was wavering hard, so I am more happy that I came back and still added another 2k lol

I did NOT meet my Camp goal but I did make progress and gained momentum that's following me into May. 7k is awesome! Congrats!

progress is progress!! That's what I love about NaNo in general, even if you don't meet the goal fully you're likely to gain momentum! Good luck keeping it up in May!

Congrats on the 7k! Anddd 4:31 yessss I needed to hear it!! Just recently started the first draft of a story I'm working on and already backed myself into a corner in chapter 1 and I've been avoiding trying to work it out 😆

Thank you! And I'm so glad you needed to hear that too. I was really struggling with that, especially with added work/career stress on top. Hope you get out of your slump (and worst case scenario, put some *** and come back to chapter one later)

Niiiiiice! Coming from a major writing slump-ish thing, I haven’t drafted more than 1k at a time in the last few months BUT I was able to pull over 5k from a previous draft in about 30 minutes and I totally counted it as a win.
