I TRIED TO OUT EAT A MASTER SUSHI CHEF FOR 2 HOURS IN JAPAN... I think today we met our match - a Master Sushi Chef with over 40 years experiences! I am in for the ultimate sushi eating challenge in Tokyo Japan! This authentic Japanese sushi challenge featured very high quality sushi coming fresh from Tokyo's famous fish market (the worlds biggest fish market Toyosu Market the new Tsukiji Market). We literally sat at arms reach from a master sushi chef and battled head to head to see who would walk away victorious - unlimited sushi and a two hour time limit. Who would win, The chef vs pro eater? The sushi was partly an all you can eat sushi challenge which cost about $70usd, and we had sushi like salmon sushi, tuna sushi, Otoro sushi, uni sushi, shrimp and crab sushi - all served in either a nigiri, sushi roll or hand roll! Sashimi was not available and not offered at any of the best all you can eat sushi restaurants in Tokyo japan! This was the best sushi in Tokyo that I had and it even featured some more exotic sushi and luxury sushi like mantis shrimp (like lobster sushi) and whale! Today we have what might be one of my craziest All you can eat sushi experiences ever! This sushi buffet put out the most unique and rare pieces of sushi i have ever had. Will the sushi chef's years of experience out do me and I need to tap out, or will I eat everything and walk away with a smile? This could be a joel hansen fail..

the reason the sushi chef was encouraging you to eat the Uni is because when you eat at the sushi bar, it is intended to be eaten within 30 seconds. The seaweed wrap begins to get soggy and it affects the integrity and is insulting to the sushi chef if you let it sit. So to the chef, you ruined the Uni maki by letting it sit there for a long time.

You are the best of all pros, because they are working and competing and you are just enjoying eating ❤️ Besides, you are the most versatile of them all because you love food from every culture, not only local food. I love how you describe the flavors, never complaining always appreciating, that’s why you are the king 👑 (not only because you can eat more than all the others) You not only can eat a lot you are also a gourmet with a delicate palate. Keep enjoying brother

I just saw Nomad Push do an all you can eat soba noodle. It was called Wanko soba. Onegaishimas Joel, it would be cool to see how many bowls you could stack.

All the food looks really good! You should really ask for fresh ground wasabi instead of that lime green powdery wasabi paste you typically get at all sushi restaurants that you are eating. Seriously, it's a game changer! Thanks again for the video!
