I’ve always wondered if breaks are “allowed” but then I was like what the heck this is my run and my rules. Started getting back into running in September, yesterday I ran 4 miles (my longest so far) and took two breaks but at the same time it made the run more enjoyable.

yeah i have always questioned about breaks and stuff ever since middle school cause my PE teacher would make the whole class run an extra minute if even one student took a break. That made me hate running so much but once i started doing it on my own with no punishments to stopping and taking breaks i actually started to enjoy it.

Stopping to have a snack or hang out seems so simple, but that completely changes the mood/vibe/goal in such a nice way. I’ve literally never thought of that, because running seems so fixed in terms of “rules”. But that way of doing things actually seems fun! If I can run toward a croissant, I’ll definitely be more motivated 😛

Crunchy leaf, break time, right down to the dang random body freckles, I feel friendship so far away. Good for you, I just started last November. I'm just on a stupid stationary bike in my house cause I'm afraid to exercise outside, it makes me feel like people will think i want to be watched. I did start walking with my boys, but I do my real exercise in my own space where I know that no one is watching me. I know i can't be the only one lol. And for the record, nothing is wrong with being a modest hotty. Hide it away, for comfort

I think i would puke if i ran, ate, and then ran again 😩 but honestly the intuitive running worked great for me! I had to run 2 miles, which i know isnt very far for most, but for someone who HATES running (especially distance running), es a lot. Anyways. My saving grace was running until i felt i couldn't, walking until i felt i could. Not really ro the pointed where i felt i had returned to homeostasis, but to the point where i felt id be okay running just a little bit more. Rinse repeat. I passed. Not by a substantial amount of time, but i passed. Also, it helps me to set visual cues. "I'll start walking at that sign" "Okay, ill walk to that rock and that should give me enough recovery to run to my next goal"

Is your vest bullet proof? Does is wic the sweat away? Does it have a compartment where you can put in a solar panel to charge your drives as you run? Is there a tiny hidden speaker in case you’re attacked and a loud sound and voice come on the scare any would be attacker? Too bad there isn’t a tiny jet pack to help you escape and allow you to fly at least 40 yards away to put some distance from you any any one pestering you. Oh and a nice feature that should be added to your vest. Is if you’re being followed the vest could hold two small canisters to emit a smoke or fog to help you escape from them.
