So watching this and having a Samsung Watch (and now Samsung Ring after a Oura trade in, I didn't like the monthly fees) -- Samsung kind of merged all the watch/ring features into this latest run and I kind of feel lucky I have the best of all of these -- don't get me wrong, Samsung does have a ways to go but I've had a Galaxy watch since 2 (2>5>7) - and it's a really good thing for daily use. PLUS with the ring - they work off each other so it saves the battery life on both! (If you have a Galaxy or google phone - you do need Samsung Health for the features.)

So ready for the winter, we may have our first snow tomorrow and it’s PRIMINGGG MEEEE UPP!!! I’m getting new hiking boots for winter today and I can’t wait to try them out! Also, bought some light bracelets so I can go walk outside all safely after my dinner!

great video! Totally agree about the Fun and Spirituality - so important. For me I started a daily meditation practiced called Inner Engineering. Totally transformative and just takes 20 minutes a day. Enjoy the holidays!

Is this supposed to be a workout shoe or casual wear? Seems like a great summer shoe, but what about cold, ice, rain etc? Are there any options nowadays or maybe someone could share their experience living in a cold climate?

I believe that the very fact that we pay a bit more in taxes in Sweden means that we have good public healthcare, general dietary recommendations, school lunches. social welfare and high trust in authorities and the government.

Ha! It's 7.30 AM and I am indeed having my "morning coffee petting a cat watching KZbin" ritual rn, after a full night of sleep. Thanks for reminding me that I am not completely behind. Now... Trying to get a walk in before work and then finish up my meal prep before heading to the office. But thanks for the finance reminder... Needed that! Edit to add: since this is a great community, if anyone has suggestions for not overspending on groceries (already meal prepping) and socialising (coffee and food out with friends, going to movies and museums, travelling)... Please hit me with that. It's so easy to justify "organic health food" but I overbuy often and then spend money eating out with friends while the food spoils... I mean, it's a very privileged problem to have, but, still ruining my plans to save.

I'm actually new to running and before I started looked up slow jogging and it's hand in hand with zero drop minimalist shoes. I got a pair to try out that look okay (konda like a pair of old school vans with the gum sole or toms shoes ) Since I actually started running as a bigger guy i have the asics novablast 3 and nimbus 25 which are on the opposite spectrum of barefoot. I am kind of curious to try one of my runs in the barefoot shoe but don't want to be sore. I've worn the barefoot shoes to work with a lot of walking involved and the flatfoot feeling does make walking more involved but it does cause me to pay more attention to my strides. They definitely feel really weird the 1st time you wear them but i figure for running they make you have a forward to midfoot strike which is what im working on in my other running shoes.

if you want to start barefoot running with thin soles, go to a park and do it in the grass. Pavement is painful!

I love my vivos for plyometrics and compound lifts in the gym - but I wont walk on the cement with them - my joints can handle it, its not worth it. Maybe doing yoga or light strength training in toe spacers might help with your toe spread! Love this video!

I don’t think the gymshark leggings are good for running, ran just a 5k in them and got chafing on my butt which I’ve never had happen before in my life. Would not recommend.

Love the you can do this vibe you have in your videos ❤ I get so motivated by your energy. Just want to recommend Julia Reppel here on KZbin for mobility/stretching. I’m having so much fun with here moves that I have to make myself stop because it is hard on the body, but I’m currently doing 1-1,5 hours each day, it’s so rewarding to see the difference from before I started. It’s so much fun so there I easily got two of the points you pointed out completed.

There’s a podcast called ‘Nothing Much Happens’ that helps me sleep when I’m having a hard time separating myself from phone stimulation at bedtime. She has a soothing voice and just tells pleasant stories that are perfect to fall asleep to. I got one of those sets of headphones that’s incorporated into a headband that’s comfortable to sleep in and it’s really helped me to avoid anxiety around bedtime and fall asleep quickly.

Try running in cotton or with a normal bra when you have c+ cups. It is a nightmare. Waterproof shoes are ideal as if you get your shoes vet, you better stop running and go home.

These r all practical and genuinely useful tho. If it’s something they would genuinely get a lot of use out of, it’s fine.
