on the hide-and-seek minigame, the optimal strategy is to hide behind the springy horses. Because they don't actually hide your character, the person guessing knows nobody is hiding there, and thus will never guess there, meaning they have 5 guesses to search the 6 remaining hiding places. With three people hiding, there's only a 50% chance of winning if everyone picks different hiding places, which doesn't usually happen. If you hide behind the springy horses, the person guessing needs to waste one guess on those, meaning they only have 4 guesses to search the 6 remaining hiding places. As long as the 2 people hiding don't pick the same spot, that gives you 67% chance of winning

You have a 1/6 chance of guessing normally, but by sacrificing yourself to the worst spot in the game, you give your allies a 1/3 chance to guess the spot. Day 6 of telling poofesure that picking the animals in hide-and-peek is the best option: Obviously you get caught every time, but then the seeker wastes a guess, which means he can only pick 4 out of the 6 other hiding spaces, leaving 2 safe. The odds of one the 2 AI players picking one of the 2 safe spots is 55% (1 - 4/6 squared) *which is a win more than half the time!* In comparison the odds of winning if no one picks animals (3 hiders each with a 1/6 chance) is 42% (1 - 5/6 cubed) The reason it seems like hide and go seek is rigged is because you assume animals is the bad play, just because you always get caught, but it's a team game so the sacrifice is worth it. Like so he sees this!
