Okay poof, let me explain how the space game works (it's been bothering me for ages) So, basically with the d-pad, you need to LITERALLY be steering it the whole 8-figure. You have to steer as if you're watching from top, not from the perspective of beef boss ;-; try to just steer the 8-figure man.. hold the d-pad, not just press em (hope this helped) For the record, yes I'm that person that wins it almost all the time

no that's not correct. Full controls are as follows: poof. this is how the controls work for this game: The D pad controls the direction your mii faces on screen. Not from their perspective, but from your perspective. You want the mii to move right on your screen, you hold left on the d pad. then you want them to move up? you hold up on the d pad, even though from the mii's perspective it's left, it's up for you, so you need to hold up. The mii takes some time to rotate and turn. I think you can only turn it when you aren't pressing boost (or in-between boosts) so rather than stopping, just hold the d pad the direction you want to go a little before you want to turn that way. The D pad can also sense multiple directions at the same time so hold your thumb in the middle of the + and use it like a playstation knob rather than distinctly changing directions. Finally you need to mash 2 continuously as fast as you possibly can. Never stop. Hope this helps.

@@MaximeLafreniere433 its hard to control since most people would forget which way to go because it can be inverted sometimes, which some people like inverted controls. But other people like to move their cameras around to see, and by wanting to go that direction they move up to go that way, but because their character is facing toward the camera, the character walks toward the camera. So it can be confusing for some, and also since a lot of games, default wise, are move relative to camera. I'm pretty sure you already knew that but I thought I should still say.

This mini game explains why I keep on losing Expert Solo. My strategy is to try going to the next direction a little bit early so you don’t hit the edge of the infinite track. Sometimes you have to be quick to turn, or you can bump into the walls of the infinite track, causing you to get last. And sometimes you can get unlucky/Bad RNG too because the rings disappear.

For what I can see, and I've never played Wii party, but it seems like when you have speed, you will bank off of the rim of the the side if you clip it, and you seem to clip against it a lot, just like how you bounce off the other characters. Not sure if that helps, but the only thing I can suggest is to try not to take as sharp of turns. It would probably serve well to practice on a lower difficulty.

@@rainglock5885 he either thinks the directions turn him instead of pointing him in that direction or he doesn't understand you need to be pressing the direction really early to take the inside lane. on the first up section you need to already be holding right then down because with how the game works you can't go backwards and this'll push you in the direction you're about to go once you get there. basically just hold the next direction instead of the direction you're currently going, like maybe 45-60° in the next direction
