Attempting to FIX a Pioneer CLD-V860 Laserdisc Player

In this video I attempt to repair a Pioneer CLD-V860 Laserdisc Player.
It seemed to load a CD no problem but when I placed a Laserdisc in the tray, it refused to load the disc and just re-opened the tray on its own. So I filmed my attempt trying to find the culprit.

I have also PAL/NTSC Sony MDP-640D LaserDisc Player Idk Whether they have any multi-region in America or in Japan 😢
