How did u add a flat % to the salary components.. Is that just at random or is this a statutory%

I have taken Random % for TA, DA and PF. It might vary as per the rules. You can do the changes on top and it will be adjusted in the formulas. No need to do adjustments in formulas

Do we have an option to calculate the salary from the middle of the month. Eg, My company has a salalry calculation from 26th to 25th?

In that case, two things can be done. Either we can maintain 2 months Attendance in a single Shhet and calculate the Salary from 26th to 25th or we can maintain Attendance Sheet from 26th to 25th instead of 1st to 31st

I'm bit confused though, as in how can I change the months in data validation and will it automatically change the date and days when we change the list of months added in the validation. In your example, it was very straight, Jan,Feb etc... so it does change. My scenario wud be 26th Aug to 25th Sep, 26th sep to 25th Oct and so on.

What is the meaning of TA.. DA and PF?

TA means Travel Allowance, DA means Dearness Allowance, HRA means House Rent Allowance and PF means Provident Fund. These are part of an Employee Salary which is applicable in India. Every country has different rules and policies, so I am really not sure what rules and policies are applicable in your country regarding wages or salary of an employee.

Data entry Maintaining records of employees/students Maintaining accounts Calculating salaries Maintaining loan records Disbursement of loans And the list is quite long. Now it totally depends, in which sector you are working or want to work. Excel is getting used mostly everywhere now a days. Either a small office or a big company.

THERE ARE SOME PROBLEMS IN THIS SHEET i'M fACING SUPPOSE WE HAVE CALCULATED SALARY FOR JAN MONTH TILL 31 AND MOVE OVER TO FEB MONTH THE ENTIRE DATA OF JAN MONTH GETS COPIED TO FEB AND OTHER MONTHS TOO tHERE THOULD BE BUTTON TO CLEAR THE TEXT, AND SUPPOSE WE HAVE A LIST OF HOLIDAYS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR WE WANT TO FILL THAT SPECIFIC DAY OF THE MONTH WITH H WHICH IS ASSIGNED TO HOLIDAYS. HOW CAN THIS BE DONE. AND AFTER THE END OF SPECIFIC MONTH DATA UPON CLICKING THE SAVE DATA /RETRIEVE DATA THE ENTIRE SHEET FOR SPECIFIC MONTH GETS SAVED ON ANOTHER PAGE SO THAT WE HAVE ATTENDANCE RECORD FOR SPECIFIC MONTH
